Children's homes, fostering organisation, care leaving provisions and local authority children's services provide care to some of the most vulnerable children and young people in the United Kingdom. It is reasonable to agree that the importance of this role in society warrant, tracking, monitoring, inspecting at the highest level. The role of the corporate parent has become one that any organisation that works with children has had to embrace whole-heartedly. Of course the legislation comes with its challenges but it’s build of the sound principle that all that with or for young people in care should have a corporate role to make their life as full and normal as possible.
