EORGE TSERIONIS was born in Athens, Greece
in 1967. He studied Graphic Arts at the Vakalo School of Art and Design (1988 - 1991) and furthered his studies in Painting, Sculpture and History of Art at the School of Art and Philosophy (1991-1995). He has held sixteen personal and many group exhibitions and took part in many group exhibitions like: Similarities: Version of a Portrait, Benaki Museum, Athens (2004), 7th Berlin Biennale, Berlin (2012), Boiling Point, Kunstlerhaus, Wien, 2012, Extraversion, Sismanoglio Megaro, Instabul (2012), That is not an image, CAN gallery Athens, (2013), “Tradition-Reversal”, State Museum of Contemporary Art, Warehouse B1 (port area), Thesalloniki, (2013), Athens Biennale (SYNAPSIS), 2016, Typography as an act of art, State Museum of Contemporary Art, Thesalloniki, (2016). His artworks can be found at the following public collections: Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art, Benaki Museum, Florina Museum of Modern Art, Citibank Collection, ACG Art of The American College of Greece, Alpha Bank collection, Μunicipality of Elefsina Collection, State Museum of Contemporary Art / Costakis Collection, Copelouzos Collection, Benetton Collection and private collections. He lives and works in Athens, Greece. He is co-founder and member of the Greek artist run group PROVO PRINCIPLES.
