called. While I could be doing other work I may get paid for someday by a grateful client, another use of the waiting time on Zoom is some mindless R & R, enhancing my relaxation and mental health, or maybe even finding a bargain I can’t live without.
9. Easier attendance at bar meetings and seminars
– On many occasions in the ‘before time’ I would have every intention of going to Waukegan or downtown for a noontime bar meeting, only to cancel those plans because leaving the office mid-morning to drive there, park, attend the meeting, and then drive back would eat up too much time and energy, not to mention the exhaustion afterwards that would inhibit getting anything else done for a good chunk of the remaining afternoon.
