the publishing houses This list shows some highlights among the publishers' new titles. There are many more gems to be discovered in each rights list of the following independent, creative and committed publishing houses. Amaterra is a publishing house based in Lyon, France. They make a point to create books that will surprise young readers and develop their curiosity, whether it is by exploring technical possibilities of paper (die cuts, pop-ups, flaps, moving parts, special inks…), or by presenting themes through a different angle. Each year they publish an average of twenty books for children. Pleasure and discovery have to be part of every project. Their books have been translated into many languages around the world. Founded in 2019 by Sarah Hamon and Angela Lery, La Cabane Bleue is a French publishing house of books for children from 3 to 10 years old which tell them why we should protect the planet, rather than how, in a positive light.Their books have a singular take on environmental issues, with picture books, entertaining documentaries and docu-fictions, with high quality illustrations. Lecturita is an independent Argentinian publishing house born in 2019, dedicated to nourishing children's love of reading. Talents Hauts is an independent French children’s books publishing house founded in 2005 by Laurence Faron. Talents Hauts publish striking, strong and funny books that challenge clichés. They endeavour to highlight talented new authors and illustrators, with the same humanist values as theirs. Their catalogue addresses all ages from toddlers to teenagers, with picture books, tales, and fiction, and their books have already been translated into many languages. Original language: French. Represented worldwide. Tra Publishing creates beautifully crafted books that celebrate art in all its forms, as well as its creators. Tra works closely and often collaboratively with artists and writers to create books about fine and decorative arts, architecture, and design that inspire social, cultural, and environmental awareness. Tra was founded in 2016 in Miami by Swiss-born graphic designer and author Ilona Oppenheim and started their children's list in 2020 with bestselling picture book "And the People Stayed Home". Publishing and book design has been at the core of victionary's creative pursuit.
