Building the Foundation
About the School of Banking
Learn the fundamentals of the banking industry and gain an in-depth understanding of the current issues facing the industry. Topics include current economic and financial issues, investment portfolio fundamentals, risk management and bank performance, pricing strategies, bank regulations, sales and service culture, asset/liability management, sources and use of funds, and work-life balance.
This two-year program provides students with a real-world overview of today’s financial services industry and also provides a strong foundation for those wishing to pursue a graduate degree in banking. Instruction is highly interactive and much of the coursework is completed in teams. The second year of the program is designed to build upon concepts learned in the first year. Advance preparation before each meeting is required. D We offer multiple Plenary sessions, including a Compliance and Regulatory Panel D Our Keynote events and other social activities allow for great networking opportunities

Applying Key Concepts Learn how to address complex banking industry issues. Working in teams using BANKdynamics, a computer-based program, students will evaluate case banks and gain hands-on experience by creating “what-if� solutions to real-world banking issues.
Program Cost
$1,545 for registration received on or before July 4, 2017 $1,595 for registration received after July 4, 2017 Cost includes instruction and materials, transportation to and from hosted events, and meals and snacks during instruction. Payment in full must be received prior to starting the program. Cancellations after August 3, 2017 will be charged a $500 cancellation fee. Failure to cancel will result in no refund.
