"Cynthetic Art Exhibition" is a mixed media art exhibition displaying various experiments and progress of the artists in the collective, YNAC (Your Neighbor’s Art Collective), with recycling trash, printmaking, and technology. In this pilot step, the artists present their working process from 2020-2021. Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, although many companies have already been working on their part to reduce plastic waste, the occurrence of the outbreak has paused this attempt. Thus, YNAC has partnered with an SME business to sort trash and waste material and turn them into new creations with artistic value. Ultimately, YNAC's mission is not to create 'trash art' but, to pave the way and seek for possibilities that artists and local business could work together for reducing waste. This may open doors for artists to create art with local community’s support in the long term.
