HUE CITADEL THEATER OF ROYAL PERFORMING ARTS HUE CITY, VIETNAM

NATIONAL GRADUATION PROJECT COMPETITION (LOA THANH ) SECOND PLACE

Theater of Royal Performing Arts is a civil complex hosting an arrays of diverse functions, a model hub of integrated and flexible cultural activities. The concept of the project is to materialize that indivisible spiritual bond btween high-class scholar art & folk songs and dancing. The project interprets traditional architectural language into modern, condensed and elegant one. The versatility of function and ambiguousness of space boundary serve best the complex's mission of being major diverse cultural venue. Many environment and energy design are implemented based on tradtional sustainable experiences.



BACK KHOA DORMITORY HANOI, VIETNAM

LOW ENERGY - HOLCIM PRIZE COMPETITION SECOND PLACE The project propose a holistic and detailed solution for the assumpted reclaimed land parcel for student dormitory building. The plan take the shape of circles and boomerang due to its efficient wind ventilation and optimal building density. A comprehensive and initial analysis of natural conditions and projects characteristic is

conducted, such as Free flow dynamic, traffic circulations, function and spaces. The project take full advantage of natural wind, sun and water energy to provide well-being, without compromising strutural, easthetic and cost. The campus offer a democratic, attractive environement for student to live, interact and thrive.


HOUSE PROTOTYPE FOR DISPLACED FARMERS NORTH DELTA, VIETNAM

RURAL HOUSE COMPETITION SECOND PLACE The project solve question of how to reinhabit in the dull prospect of rapid urbanization and rural displacement. While remain conscious about sustainable measures, the project emphasize on the economic aspect when offering a model of quick fabricated house, considering flexibility and metamorhosis in case of moving, family growing or disaster.


6x3x3 COMMUNITY HOUSE HANOI, VIETNAM

ART FORM INTERIOR COMPETITION THIRD PLACE The project explore a futuristic house prototype for 6 highly gregarious people having their own rotating module in which 3 main zones and 3 kind of setting such zones are provided. The result is a dynamic, unpredictable and ever changing space for 6 people who decide what space they want to involve. A new notion of space, commoness and privacy is suggested

DUONG NOI NEW DEVELOPMENT CT1 LOT

HA DONG, HANOI, VIETNAM Set in the rapidly developed new development of Hanoi, the project question and try to circumvent the ubiquitious issue of architectural monotony, urban highrise "wall" and public space limit. The diversity is conceived by rhythmic highrise height and ground level change. Visual corridors are cut across the complex to fight walling. The project advocate for modest typical floor plan due to its high living standard and elegant appearance.

TRUNG KINH COMPLEX

TRUNG KINH, HANOI, VIETNAM A dramatic bridge of apartment units connects the two towers in the rear above the garden. All units are 2 or 3 bedroom, some with a distinctive duplex layout in the bridge. The design is a more modern version of the area French colonial styled high rises.

HA NAM HOTEL&RESORT PHU LY, HA NAM, VIETNAM

All 200 hotel rooms face the river side with a prime view. Deep vertical fins and solid balconies help to protect from the harsh west sun while still allowing expansive views. Active retail and restaurants line the base along the main street, vibrate the building especially at night



PARKCITY PHASE 3 APARTMENT HADONG, HANOI, VIETNAM

The main lobbies face each other across a motor court for a common drop off. Motorbike and automobile access to the basement parking is separated to minimize congestion. The podium houses the community center, health club and kindergarten, all of which look out onto the main outdoor plaza and pool area, forming the center of the community. 28 stories of residential units rise above. All rooms have access to natural light and ventilation.

HOI AN, QUANG NAM, VIETNAM The beach villas are arranged in 6 groups with a front row and a higher back row to allow views through the front row. To minimize the effect of so many roofs and houses in the site, they have been designed as pairs when possible. The groups are intended to be marketed as 3 "precincts", each with a different color and
