The Albert Jr and Tina Small Center for Collaborative Design is the community design center of the Tulane School of Architecture. Since our founding in 2005, Small Center (formerly the Tulane City Center) has completed over 110 projects, with 650+ students, 35 faculty, with over 90 partner organizations involved. The work focuses on equitable process, meaningful outcomes, design excellence, and inclusion as critical parts of the design process.

Tulane School of Architecture students and faculty collaborate with the staff and constituents of partnering nonprofit organizations throughout New Orleans on design, mapping, graphic advocacy, and design-build projects. We also host conversations and events on topics involving equity, design, and the built environment.
