Your dad played professional football? What is the biggest thing from his play that you think carries over into how you play? I definitely have to say aggression and his size. With my dad, I would not have wanted to run into my dad because I’ve seen old film of how he was, I don’t think I would have wanted to be part of it. You do play physical ball and love to play that way, is that because of him? Oh yeah, I love it. I’ve always been that big back. So I’ve always loved contact and trying to hit people. Because I love the sound it makes like when you hit somebody clean and that little clack sound, I love it. When you get a really big hole from your offensive lineman, you get downfield and the only thing in front of us the end zone, what does that feel like? It’s like a breath of fresh air, like new legs, new lungs, new hope is just an indescribable feeling. What is a life skill or attribute that you think kind of developed because of the game of football? I kind of say you’re probably having a short memory. Because our coaches always tell us we can’t dwell on good things, and we also can’t dwell on bad things. So, throughout life, I just feel because of football this helped me to focus on not living in the past.
What teammates says are the fastest, but definitely isn’t? Oh my, Nick Anderson. Nick Anderson, he swears he could be Usain Bolt. Nick is not that fast. Yeah, his confidence is too big. If you could attend to any celebrity birthday party, whose would it be and why? I’ll probably say that Rock because he’s a great actor. He was once a wrestler and I want to say he’s like one of the most likable people on the planet. Do you have a tattoo that is most meaningful for you? Yeah, I have a picture on my left arm of my grandfather, who passed away when I was younger, who served in the Army and he was my biggest inspiration You’re the youngest in your family, are you babied? I’m still babied. my mom, babies me. My siblings always give me crap, they still give me crap about it because they know I’m a mama’s boy and that she’s gonna baby me. So, I get my way with a lot of things.
