Pay Less for a Great College Education.

Completing your first two years of college at TCC will literally save you thousands. With various financial aid opportunities, you can graduate TCC debt-free or close to it.

A $50,000 student loan for your first two years at State U takes an average of 25 years at $309 a month to pay off, which works out closer to $92,000. And that’s just for the first two years.

TCC is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, the same organization that accredits all the regional four-year schools, which means we meet the same rigorous academic standards. You get the same quality class credits, and you’re paying less for them.

Paying for College

Most TCC students qualify for some kind of financial aid.

Financial Aid comes in the form of grants, scholarships, loans, and part-time employment from federal, state, institutional, and private sources.

The process begins with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). And remember, if you need help, we’re here.

To find out what you qualify for, start here:

1. Apply to TCC. (tulsacc.edu/apply)

2. Complete your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). It’s what the government uses to check your eligibility for federal grants, work-study, state aid, school aid, and loans. You can submit for the next school year starting Oct. 1. Do so ASAP. The Federal deadline is June 30.

3. Apply for Tulsa Achieves. (tulsacc.edu/tulsaachieves) Tuition-free scholarship for Tulsa County Residents.

4. Apply for TCC Scholarships. The TCC Foundation provides approximately $1 million in financial aid to TCC students. The scholarship priority deadline is March 1, so don’t wait. Visit tulsacc.academicworks.com to check out what’s available.

If the unexpected occurs, we have help there, too. Our emergency grants can cover those unplanned life events that could otherwise derail your education. We’re here to help find solutions you need to finish what you start.

Visit Tulsacc.edu/scholarships to check out what’s available.

There are college towns, and then there’s Tulsa.

Tulsa boasts the BOK Center, the Arts District, everything around the Blue Dome, the award-winning Mother Road Market and more of just about everything you love to do. More restaurants. More museums. More jobs. More concerts. More coffee shops. More parks and recreation.

And that’s on top of featuring The Gathering Place, which is only the #1 public park in the entire country.

There’s more of everything you like to do, and all over them are excellent reasons to stay in Tulsa for College.
