Tumwater Artesian Brewfest
Every year, in celebration of our community’s brewing history, and in the shadow of the former Olympia Brewery, the City of Tumwater hosts the Tumwater Artesian Brewfest. With over 10 acres of flat manicured grass, the golf course driving range provides a unique outdoor venue for beer tasting, music, activities, food, and fun. Over fifty Pacific Northwest brewers attend the festival as well as several cideries, one local winery and two local distilleries. The event also includes a variety of community booths and a wide range of food options. Live entertainment is featured on the main stage. Contests and activities such as super-sized beer pong, and beer stein holding contests – along with a few new attractions – make for fantastic entertainment. The sun may be blazing and the temperature high but our shade and misting tents keep Brewfest event-goers cool and comfortable.
The Tumwater Artesian Brewfest celebrates the long history of beer making in Tumwater and the craft behind today’s outstanding beer and craft beverage professionals. What our sponsors are saying... “WSECU has been teaming up with Tumwater Parks and Recreation (TP&R) for several years now and we couldn’t be happier with our partnership. The staff and crew at TP&R are professional, courteous, and a joy to collaborate with! The events put on by them are well organized, well-advertised, and provide a positive impact on our community. We look forward to partnering with them with more events to come! Thank you TP&R!” – Gabriel Angeles, WSECU
“Our partnership with Tumwater Parks and Recreation has been valuable as a small business owner. We have worked with Tumwater the last 3 years, and supporting our local community is always the first priority. Having events including the Easter Egg Dash, Pumpkin Painting and Tumwater Youth Program, to list a few, has been a growing experience for myself and staff as a newer business owner. These free events bring smiles and in some cases, are the only activities a family may be able to participate in due to financial constraints. The relationship is part of my business plan and I look forward to strengthening our relationship with Tumwater and our Community.” – Eric Zabala, State Farm
“Toyota of Olympia is a strong supporter of Tumwater Parks and Recreation’s goal to provide parks and recreation services that are creative, beneficial, and responsive to the needs of our community. The Easter Egg Dash, Brewfest, Screen on the Green, Pumpkin Painting and Christmas Tree Lighting are a few of our favorite community events you’ll see us sponsor and volunteer at. Supporting these events is just our small way to be good stewards of our community.” – Carol Peebles, Toyota of Olympia
