ADULT ENRICHMENT Digital Photography Beginning Digital Photography This is an introductory course to the practical use and technology of Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) cameras. Explore techniques and varying approaches to photography, i.e. Travel/ Family/ Fashion/ Fine Art/ Documentary. Covers workflow and digital asset management file storage, transferring and editing images, and optimizing final outputs. This class will help you better use your own DSLR camera, lenses, and accessories. One-time supply fee of $20 is due on the first day of class to the instructor. Requirements: Participants are required to have a digital camera with manual settings (shutter speed and aperture settings). A DSLR camera or a newer mirror-less camera suggested. Please also bring your camera manual. A laptop with USB and access to Photoshop or similar editing software is also recommended. Horticulture Creating Beautiful Landscapes This class teaches homeowners the basic elements of designing a landscape. Including, how to select a garden style, performing a proper needs assessment & site analysis, how to form a base plan & final plan and sound guiding principles to selecting the right plants for their yards. Handouts included. Masks are required.
