Vinh Nguyen Executive Assistant

Blazing for service as one of your Executive Assistants for this term, I also happen to be the Activities Chair for Fountain Valley Key Club -- both of which are daunting indeed. I am an incoming junior at Fountain Valley High School and that's pretty much all you need to know about me (my life story and non-Kiwanis related endeavors reside with me alone, sorry about that)! My goal for this term is to bring a fiery spirit into the souls of D04W clubbers alike! With the onset of a slow term thus far, I'm sure all dragons will be hyped up for the next few months with the great work of DLT!

Hey Dragons! I currently serve as one of your EA's this term! Some of my hobbies consist of watching movies, igniting the flames of the communist revolution, and going out to eat at new places! When I am older, I hope to be able to travel the world and just help people wherever I go. One country I especially want to travel to is Indonesia, so that I can meet Rich Chigga. My main goal this term is to have a good member experience, because I believe that every strong division starts from its passionate and spirited members! st

Anthony Duong Executive Assistant

Kevin Pham Spirit Task Coordinator

Hello, my name is Kevin Pham and I am one of your 2016-2017 Division Spirit Task Coordinators. Right now, I am attending Marina High School soon to be a Junior. Outside of school, I am involved in many outside activities. I have been attending martial arts for about 10 years now and I just became a 3rd stripe instructor. Other than that, I am also a student in Vietnamese school, and one of the many youth group leaders of CDY. CDY stands for Cao Dai Youth and we gr usually volunteer with cultural events around our community. Formerly, I used to be a Boy Scout for a couple of years and a lion dancer for over 7 years. At home, I am usually eating, sleeping, on my phone or jamming on my ukulele. For this term, my goal is to create fun and catchy cheers for our division so we can win the Spirit Stick at the next Fall Rally

Velvet Lam

Spirit Task Coordinator

Hey there, Dragons! My name is Velvet Lam and I will be serving as one of your Spirit Coordinators for this 2016-2017 term! I currently attend Huntington Beach HS as a part of the Class of 2017 and moved here from Arizona a little over a year and a half ago and I hope that I can make more fantastic memories here with everyone! Asides from my involvement with Key Club, I served as Vice President of FHA-HERO at Huntington Beach High School this past school year, practice Kung Fu most days of the week, and have a love of cooking for my family and friends. I am a huge foodie and love ha to get out to try new things and experience things from around the world! I hope to one day travel the world and open myself up to learn more about all the different people, cultures, and customs I currently do and do not know. As a member of your Division Leadership Team, I hope to create more and even better experiences for Division 4 West and help build up our spirit to even greater heights to show all of CNH District that D04W is the best!

I’m pretty outgoing and I like to be in the lead of things or just leading in general. I’m also super spirited and I like being in the spotlight. I really love helping others and I manage my time efficiently. I might come off as a person who can’t be taken seriously, but when it comes to serious business, I put it as my first priority. Other than that, I’m a bubbly person and a huge extrovert. My goal for this term is to increase our spirit level along with encouraging inclusiveness throughout the whole division.

Michelle Nguyen Spirit Task Coordinator

Joshua Kim Spirit Task Coordinator

Hello Division 4 West! I’m extremely grateful to be serving as 1 of your 5 amazing Spirit Task Coordinators for this term! I’m an upcoming sophomore at Fountain Valley High School and along with my fellow Spirit Task Coordinator, Dacey Nguyen, I was previously on their Spirit Committee for District Convention, where we snatched a Spirit Stick! Aside from Key Club, I love spending time with my friends. Whether it’s going on adventures to places far away, or just a simple dinner, hanging out with my friends is always a great time. Something else I absolutely adore are animals, especially dogs! I currently own a Shih Tzu named Choco, and I love him to death. For this term, I want to create a comfortable environment for all members, get to know the members well, hone my skills as a Keyclubber, make and teach cheers efficiently, and of course win the Spirit Stick at Fall Rally South! However, because I know that Division 4 West is the best of ALL Key Clubs, these goals should be easy to achieve and I know this term is going to be absolutely

phenomenal.

What's poppin', Dragons! I proudly serve as one of five of your Spirit Task Coordinators for the 2016-2017 term! I cannot wait to share all the LIT new cheers with all of the members and to carry on the hype legacy of Division 4 West. During my spare time, you can catch me on social media like Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, VSCO, and Snapchat. I dabble with Soundcloud (follow me xD) and I also play the violin & ukulele. If I'm not on social media, hanging out with my squad, or blasting music, you can find me reading or doing re-runs of the Harry Potter series!! I hope to meet some new faces this term at our upcoming events and I'm beyond excited to see what the year has in store for this Division! Also please don't be afraid to hmu on social media too! Catch you cuties on the flip side!

KBBQ is the way to my heart tbh but I also enjoy looking for new trendy food places to try! My goal for the term is to ďŹ nd the best service events possible for you all and to help make sure that you guys have fun while doing it!

Greetings Dragons! My name is Dustin Tran and I will be serving as your Division Tech Editor. I'm in charge of all things media. You will see updates and recaps on all mediums of social media. Hello D04 West! My name is Elaine Le and I am FVKC's new president. Hmm, a little bit about myself? Well everyone knows me as the obnoxious laugher but trust me there's more than just that. I'm really into fashion and style so you can always catch me tryna look my best, I'm always complaining about school stress, and I absolutely LOVE DOGS. My goal for this term is to increase the amount of service hours and to win both of the spirit sticks! I'm really hoping our club and division can come together as a whole to achieve these goals!

Fountain Valley President

Brian Nguyen

Fountain Valley Vice President

Writing this letter takes me back to two years ago when I was Division 04 West’s Division Spirit Coordinator. That was a very great experience for me and it gives me great pleasure to be included on the division’s newsletter once again as Fountain Valley’s Vice President. Hello, I’m Brian and I’m at your service! If you didn’t know already I currently attend FVHS and I’m going to be a senior in the fall. I joined Key Club because I was inspired by one of my friends in how she was so active and I really wanted to be like her! I got enticed by the friendliness that Key Club gave to me, but I stayed in it because it gave me infinite opportunities to serve others and build my character traits. I have a super long and story that anyone can learn from and I’m super approachable so don’t be afraid to say hi to me the next time you see me at a service event.

Hey dragons!!!! It's super exciting to be the Godinez president this term. I've been a part of Key Club board since my freshman year and it's satisfying finally being in charge. Besides Key Club, I'm class president for ASB and treasurer for American Red Cross. When I'm not bossing people around, I enjoy relaxing with my pups while watching movies in my living room. Sometimes I like to sing to them with my ukulele because playing my cello is kind of obnoxious. Even though I would much rather stay home, I aspire to travel the world one day and view cultures through new perspectives. This term I look forward to really putting Godinez on the map. I want my home school to appreciate the origins and values of Key Club beyond the service. I hope to improve the foundations as a club and influence our division and community in a positive way. #GLIFE

Rafael Ramirez Godinez Vice President

Melody Khounchanh Godinez President

Hello Dragons! My name is Rafael Ramirez. I am the Vice President of Godinez Key Club. Besides serving Key Club, I am also the President of National Honor Society. I am really awkward when you first start talking to be, but as I get to know you, I will probably never want to stop talking (unless I don’t know what say). I know how to play the violin and the clarinet (although I am a little rusty with this one). My main goal this term is to recruit more members at my home club and get them to attend the DCMs more. I will also do my very best to have a closer bond with members so that they feel part of something special.

Richard Duong Marina Vice President

My goals for this term as Kiwanis Family Coordinator is to improve our current relationship with our Kiwanis family. I hope to have D4W be a division that the Kiwanis family loves being a part of such as chaperoning and sponsoring our clubs. I hope to have Kiwanis members at our DCMs and some of our members at their meetings. All in all, I hope to have a good relationship with our family, that they feel comfortable attending our events and that we feel comfortable

Nick Lee
