OLD VILLAGE OF CLARÀ

Envoltat de camps de conreu i d’unes vistes privilegiades de l’horitzó, és el nucli urbà habitat més antic de Torredembarra. Va néixer com a poble a l’època feudal i encara conserva les petjades dels seus primers pobladors, els romans. La parròquia de Sant Joan Baptista i les restes de l’antic castell són els testimonis vius d’un passat agrícola i medieval. Surrounded by cropland and incredible views of the horizon, this is the oldest urban area in Torredembarra. It became a village during feudal times and remains of its first inhabitants the Romans, can still be found today. The Parish Church of St. John the Baptist and the remains of the old castle bear witness to an agricultural and mediaeval past.
