1957 yılında doğan Francisco Mangado, 1982 yılında Navarre Mimarlık Okulundan mezun olmuştur ve halen bu okulda eğitim vermeye devam etmektedir. Harvard’dan, Yale’e kadar birçok okulda misafir öğretim üyesi olarak görev alan ve RIBA International Fellowship’in de olduğu birçok mimari ödüle sahip olan Mangado, 2008 yılında mimarlığın diğer alanlarla ilişkisini sağlamak amaçlı Fundación Arquitectura y Sociedad’ı kurmuştur. Halen Pamplona’da kendi ofisinde çalışmalarına devam etmektedir. Born in 1957, Mangado studied architecture at the University Of Navarre, School of Architecture, and has since made this institution the centre of his teaching career. He has also been a guest professor at Harvard, Yale and l’École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne. In 2008, he set up the Fundación Arquitectura y Sociedad to help increase architecture’s interaction with other fields of knowledge and action. Throughout his career, he received many awards including RIBA International Fellowship. He combines this academic and foundation work with his architectural practice, which he runs from his studio in Pamplona.
