RE-ENTRY PROTOCOLS OVERVIEW These are unprecedented times that have changed the way many of us live our lives and conduct business. Amid the uncertainty of the Coronavirus Pandemic (COVID-19), these protocols are written to protect Turlock Irrigation District employees and customers. TID has developed a phased approach that will allow our facilities to open in accordance with State and local ordinances and safety precautions. The protocols for these phases are based on guidelines and requirements from the CDC, State Public Health Departments, and local county orders. TID will move through the Phases based on several factors including local case numbers, local/state/federal guidelines or regulations, capacity and readiness of the facilities, and availability of supplies. TID may move to a higher or lower phase at any time depending on the current conditions. While TID will take into account California’s Blueprint for a Safer Economy tiers and criteria, we will not necessarily move in lock-step with the progress of any of the counties we serve. All phases have a central focus of maintaining physical distancing, regularly sanitizing of workspaces, and the personal responsibility of practicing consistent and thorough hygiene. The measures the District has put in place to protect employees and customers only succeed when they are practiced by everyone and become the norm. Remember, we are all in this together. • Employees are to immediately report any illness, or if they have been in contact with anyone that is sick. • Follow the 6-15-48 rule: If you have been within 6 feet of someone who is sick or symptomatic, for 15 minutes or more, within 48 hours of a person showing symptoms or falling ill, please take appropriate precautions and report the exposure to your Supervisor. You will be screened, and may be asked to self-quarantine, once the level of exposure is determined. • If you become sick, you will be required to self-quarantine for up to a period of 14 days and are no longer exhibiting symptoms. • If we determine that a sick or symptomatic employee has been in or at a TID facility, proper notification will be made to everyone the employee has been in contact with and all affected employees may be asked to self-quarantine. • Any employee who answers “yes” to the screening questions or has symptoms is screened by a screening agent to determine next steps. • TID has secured a relationship with physicians to conduct web-based health assessments for employees.
