Guidelines for Contractors Performing Work at TID Facilities To limit the spread of COVID-19 and to protect the health and safety of everyone, TID requires adherence to the following guidelines while working in or visiting any District facility:
Do not enter any District facility if you are ill
Maintain a minimum of six- feet of space between individuals at all times whenever possible
If the minimum of six-feet of space cannot be maintained, the use of face coverings is required
Wash your hands before beginning work and frequently while on-site

Use soap and water

Wash for at least 20 seconds
o
If soap and water are not available, use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol content
Sneeze and cough into a cloth or tissue, or if not available, into your elbow Do not shake hands or engage in any unnecessary physical contact Abide by all signage and designated one-way hallways, stairwells, or doorways
Only one person at a time are allowed in elevators, use hand sanitizer before touching call buttons or entering the car
Use only designated points of entry into the building
Clean and sanitize all shared tools and equipment after use
Do not share food or beverages with anyone while on District premises
These guidelines are not meant to replace any workplace safety policies, or employer’s worker protections, or any OHSA or other regulatory agency policy or safety protocols.
