After the irrigation season, when the canals are emptied of irrigation water, TID Water Resources and Construction & Maintenance team members use the off season to complete maintenance projects like refurbishing canal infrastructure to continue to steward the 100+ year old, gravity fed canal system that provides water to growers who produce vital agriculture for our communities and far beyond. As a community-owned utility, TID is committed to preserving and maintaining the infrastructure that provides customers with the essential resources they count on day and night.
