Tftha'r ---.... PIease look carefully at the recommended rider heights listed for each size. These suggestions
are based on talking to hundreds of riders a year. lt is not unusual for us to get a request for a new front triangle, and almost every time they are requesting the next larger size. When too small a frame is purchased the rider ends up over extending the seat post, using a tall stack of spacers and the use of too long a stem. Being on the correct size bike places the riders' weight between the front and rear wheels adding stability and is much more comfortable as each larger size frame has a taller head tube so the rider is
not hunched over.
7or( €qlea' Over the last 13 years we have seen riders install a range of fork lengths on any given model and be completely happy with their f inal set up. Almost without exception the range has
been within 1" longer or shorter than the fork length the frame was designed around. lf you install a fork that is shorter or longer then the A-C length the frame geometry was designed around, your geometry will change approximately 1 degree per 20mm of fork length. Allframes are designed around an average fork with an axle to crown length in the travel range that we expect you to run on your Turner frame, but changing fork lengths (within reason) can help fine tune the geometry to better fit your riding style and terrain.
Turner Bicycles founder David Turner has been at the forefront of MTB suspension since the technology's inception in the '1980's. As a professional racer, David helped designers at Rock Shox, Mongoose and AMP Research race-test and fine-tune early advancements in suspension design. After retiring from full-time competition, David worked with legendary design guru Horst Leitner to create some of the most progressive and lightweight suspension bicycle frames and forks the sport had ever seen.
ln 1994, David Turner entered the bicycle market with high-performance frames bearing his own name. Turner suspension frames quickly earned winning reputation by delivering levels of
a
performance, pedaling efficiency and reliability few riders had ever experienced. The superiority of Turner frames has not been lost on top pros in the sport. Numerous NORBA, World Cup and UCI Championships have been won on Turner frames, and all by riders being paid by other bike companies to endorse their products. Two thousand seven marks our company's 14th year building high-performance suspension frames for hard-core riders. This year's Turner line is the most comprehensive in our company's history, and includes long-travel DH race machines, big-hit freeride frames, mid- and short-travel XC frames and even an all-new suspension frame for the 29-inch scene.
