NED EVANS RECENT PAINTINGS Santa Monica, CA –William Turner Gallery is pleased to announce “Recent Paintings”, an exhibition of new work by Ned Evans. A master of color and texture, Evans effortlessly integrates fabric, acrylic paints, and differing surface finishes to create complex compositional structures. The subtle tonal and spatial variations splinter the picture plane with light infused color. The artist’s love of the desert and the sea provide abundant source material for his sun-drenched palette. Evans lives and works in Venice, CA and has been exhibited both nationally and internationally and is included in many important public and private collections. His work was featured recently in the Pacific Standard Time exhibitions, “Best Kept Secret”, at the Laguna Beach Museum and “California Art: Selections from the Frederick R. Weisman Art Foundation”
