There was a man from the U.S.A.

He came to Canada for a stay DARKNESS

He hated Victoria, B.C.

So he went to Washington, D.C.

When it is dark, He didn't like Canada, eh? And getting cold

When the moon is rising, There was a1man from the slum The shadows come alive, Who thought, "Boy, is this dumb:" Trees are goblins, So he bought a big house, And skeletons too, He got as fat as a mouse. All sneaking up on you.

But where did he get his money from?

There was a man from New York, Are elf land spies

Who tried to eat soup with a fork. The clouds are witches

He kept trying and trying

As they swoop the moon

When it is dark, By the way, the soup was beans and pork. And getting cold

Until he was dying and dying

When the moon is rising

There was man who ran from jail. The shadows are alive.

When he stole, he let out a wail. OW, there was a hound, .. He found my foot step the ground."

Now he's back in jail.

THE DARK

The people are fishing

The water falling

Darkness is scary, mean and black. There are lots of rocks

The thought of it sends chills up my back

The rocks are all big

It is late at night and all is quiet. The w~ter had some small 1 I dare you scream, just try it. The h1.11s have small grasi

You hear a sound, it sounds like a bark, Their skin is so black

Darkness is frightening, darkness is bad. . Not once for darkness, have I been glad.

It is 7:30 and there is no light

It is so dark, it gives me a fright

It 1.Ssummer out

The people like to live tl

It is kind of warm

They have crooked sticks

The people are very poor That is of course, if I'm with someone to call The water is deep

But some of the time, I'm not scared of it at all

There was a time, my room was dark. Heather Lo] I turned on the lights as fast as a spark.

Would you want to be alone

In the dark and let out a groan?

The dark may be fun to you, but not for me. I'm just plain scared of it don't you see. RUFUS Ron

There is this doggy called Rufus, Who likes to chew upon loofas .' H1.Sold pal Teddy, Would float on the eddies, And watch his silly friend Rufus.

I LIKE THE DARK

I like the dark because you can play hide and seek, skate on the ice, get wood. I also like the dark to climb in the trees and turn on the lamp at home. It is so lovely, outside on the ground. When I go to a movie I like kids asking me if I am scared of the dark? I say no. But I

hate to play hockey in the dark. Why? Cause my brother shoots very hard. It flies into the snow and we can't find it. When a skidoo goes on rocks and makes sparks that you could see very good.

THE DARKNESS

The Darkness is the nicest thing in the world. Sometimes I'm scared when I am alone and sometimes I'm not scared of the dark.

I always look at the stars when I'm not scared. Sometimes I go out with my friends. We look at the stars for a long time. After that we say good-bye and go home. Sometimes a friend walks me horne, but some friends walk me halfway and then we say good-bye.

I WISH CHRIST'S BIRTHDAY

I wish it were summer with birds in the trees. Holy day

But if it were summer I'd get stung by the bees. Remember long ago

I wish I was a princess.

All lovely and fair

Icicles on the trees

Singing carols

But to be a princess I need longer hair. Trees are colorful

I wish I had more dresses made with gold. Merry music

But dresses like that must be old. And everyone in friendly

So really Santa comes , I like being me.

Sitting in the wood

Dreaming of the holiday Which is corning soon
