SO we observe that 18 > 10 Here we conclude 3 / 5 > 2 /6 The same problem can be solved by another way as follows: LCM of 5 and 6 is 30, then we will write the equivalent form of the two fractions 3/5 and 2/6 as follows : =(3*6)/(5*6) = 18 / 30 And ( 2 * 5 ) / ( 6 * 5 ) = 10 /30 So 18/30 > 10 / 30 as we have the two fraction numbers with the same denominator and 18 as the numerator is greater than the another numerator 10.
