Unit Circles Unit Circles In the mathematics, if any of the circles has radius value ‘1’ then the type of circle is known as unit circle. In other word, radius of a circle is equidistance from the center of a circle. In the geometry circle is look like a round ball or we can say shape of circle is just like a round ball.Let’s discuss the steps for making a Unit Circle? Construction steps of a Unit Circle are mention below: Step 1: To make a Unit Circle we have to remember some things that is: First it is necessary to take the radius of a circle is ‘1’ because if the radius of circle is more than or less than ‘1’ than the circle is not unit circle. According to the definition of unit circle the radius of unit circle is ‘1’ only, So first we have to see the radius of circle is ‘1’. Step2: To plot a Unit Circle then we have to draw the tangent and find the equation of unit circle with the help of Pythagoras theorem. Know More About : Limit Of Composite Function

In case of right angle triangle, squaring the long side of a triangle that is equals to the sum of square of two other sides. So the equation of unit circle is given by: X2 + y2 = 1, let’s have a small introduction about circle. A close loop or path in which every point present on close loop situated at a fixed distance from the center is said to be circle or it is a line which bends around its end point then arrange the line in such a way that it contains exactly a circle or round shape, it means all the points of a line are equidistance from the center of circle. As we know that the circle and the disk have minute difference that is, in case of circle area is not defined but in case of a disk the area is defined. There are different types of properties which are shown below: Center – The point’s lies on the circle are equidistance distance from the center of circle. Radius – The distance measured from the center to any point on a circle is said to be radius of a circle. As we know that the radius is always half of the diameter. Diameter – A line passes through the center of a circle is known as diameter of a circle. As we know that the diameter of a circle is always twice the radius of a circle. Circumference – The distance measured around the circle is known as circumference of a circle. If the radius of circle is given then the circumference of a circle is given by:

Circumference of a circle is = 2 ? R, where ‘r’ is the radius of circle, and the value of ? is predefined, its value is approx 3.142… Chord – A line is used to join two points in a circle is known as chord of a circle. Tangent – Tangent is also a line passes through a circle and touching it at one point of a circle is known as tangent. Note: Radius of a circle is always ‘1’ not more than ‘1’ or not less ‘1’.
