From the Director…. As I look back at our first three years of Boise Pridefest I am amazed at how a community can come together and create such a wonderfully diverse event! I would like to thank everyone for your support of Boise Pridefest as we have been able to grow and mold this Festival into something we can all be proud of! After a few years of a learning curve we have things going in an upward direction and the excitement for this year’s event is evident. Last year’s move to Capitol Park was such a wonderful experience. From the Rally on the Capitol Steps with more than 3,500 attendee’s to the throngs of cheering fans in the shade in front of the Main Stage, we knew we had found our new home for years to come! After a record crowd of nearly 20,000 attendees last year we knew we had to make this a two day event! This year we will be kicking off Pride at 6pm on FRIDAY June 16th and we will continue the Celebration until 4pm on Saturday! We are hoping this year’s Pride will light the fire within each of us to celebrate our differences. Be proud to live in a community that supports Diversity, and always support and thank those who support Boise Pridefest throughout the year. I am so proud to represent each of you and I am so excited to say #ImWithPride.
