Tate Brownlee wins REB Boutique Independent of the Year
By Jo KennettWE HAVE some fantastic real estate agents in the Tweed Shire and one of the best, Tate Brownlee Real Estate, has taken a huge win at the prestigious national 2024 Real Estate Business (REB) awards held at the Star Casino in Sydney on Thursday, February 29.
Thirty winners were chosen out of almost 300 finalists and 664 submissions at the 12th annual REB Awards, with Tate Brownlee Real Estate Agent winning Boutique Independent of the Year – 3 or Less Offices.
The Weekly caught up with Tate Brownlee Real Estate principal Tate Brownlee to ask him about his team’s achievement.
Q. What does it take to win an award like Boutique Independent of the Year?
A. Seventeen years of hard work in business to achieve ‘overnight success’. It took long hours and a lot of sacrifices to achieve this
result.
What did you think when you heard you and your team had won?
When we heard that our team had won, a rush of emotions flooded through me. It was a moment of immense pride and validation for all the hard work, dedication, and sacrifices we had put in over the years.
There was also a sense of gratitude towards my team members who had contributed tirelessly towards our shared goal. Overall, it was a surreal feeling of accomplishment and joy.
