There is good news for buyers with interest rates expected to start dropping either this year or early 2025, with analysts expecting more than one cut. The other good news is that there were actually more properties on the market in our area this January than January last year. According to data from PropTrack, regional NSW had a strong start to the year, with listings for the Richmond-Tweed area up 11.3 per cent from January last year. More choice means more competition which can bring prices down as well and that’s good news for buyers.
