Fingal Head property in high demand Last Tweed Coast lots By Jo Kennett THE IDYLLIC coastal village of Fingal Head is home to some of the most sought after and expensive real estate on the north coast and has several stunning homes currently on the market. While the median house price at Fingal Head in the latest data from PropTrack from March was $1.37 million, that price only included two properties sold in March; an original two-bedroom beach shack on Wommin Bay Road which sold in early March for $1.151 million and a three-bedroom Queen Street beach cottage on a 1265m² block which sold the same week for $2.51 million. Properties at Fingal are in much higher demand than elsewhere in the state, with 2,385 views to each property on realestate.com compared to the NSW average of 1,751. One of the properties now on the market is a luxurious three-storey home at 10A Marine Parade with its own lift. The top level is a master suite with views over the Tweed River towards Wollumbin (Mt Warning) and the ocean towards Cook Island. Of course it has a pool and a sixcar garage, as well as a separate guest studio zoned B2 “providing a range of opportunities, including bed and breakfast accommodation or a small coffee shop (STCA)” and is on the market with LS Properties for $3.74 million.

The land for sale is located on the corner of Casuarina Way and Grand Parade at Casuarina. It is directly to the north-east of the roundabout at Coles and is just over 4,000 square metres in size. The site has a concept plan and project approval in place for a boutique four-storey medium density residential block of apartments or a retirement project, subject to Council approval. The block is only 250 metres from the beach and adjacent to the Casuarina Shopping Village and opposite The Commons.
