Thursday 10 February, 2011 Gust speaker: Marlene Manto Marlene is the E-learning Coordinator in South Australia for the Australian Flexible Learning Framework and has been involved in flexible learning and e-learning for more then 15 years. In her role, Marlene assists organisations and individuals who are working to implement e-learning. She also manages and facilitates professional development programs and workshops on many subjects related to e-learning across SA.

Twelve25 Salisbury Youth Enterprise Centre has developed and run a training program teaching a group of young (and young at heart!) participants, volunteers and staff to operate our Airbrush Kit. Initially the focus has been on Airbrush tattoo's as a popular addition to youth events across the city. The
Role
Model
and
Expectations
Performed by the City of Salisbury's and Urban Myth Theatre of Youth's - youth theatre group Actors Anonymous as part of the Adelaide Fringe. Directed by Anna Watt. “The Role Model” The theatre participants will present an edited version of Bruce Hoogendoom's The Role Model. The group has taken 6 scenes from the play to showcase the key themes of relationships, growing up and the pressures of reviving a swimming reputation. The key characters are energetic and interesting. The play also looks at the key issues that face young people today and the play highlights the way in which these issues are addressed using humour. “Expectations” is a group devised piece that uses the themes from The Role M o d e l t o i nve s t i g a t e g r ow in g u p a n d r e l a t i o n s h i p s. The participants have workshopped these ideas during rehearsals and provided interesting and entertaining ways to present these themes. YOUTH SERVICES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE 1212-25 YEARS OLD‌ Emergency Food Parcel Project The Emergency Food Parcel Project is available for young people aged between 12 and 25 who live in the City of Salisbury council area in need of food assistance. Food Parcels are available every Thursday afternoon between 2pm and 4pm at Twelve25 Salisbury Youth Enterprise Centre. No appointment necessary.
Case Management - An appointment with a Youth Worker from Paralowie Youth Service Want someone to talk to? Do you have a problem and you are not sure what to do? Half an hour appointments can be made through Twelve25 for Monday and Tuesday afternoons between 3pm and 5pm. You can talk to a friendly Youth Worker about topics such as finding employment, housing, health or anything you need assistance with.
