General Information: Your Volunteer will be interviewed prior to participation in the Volunteer Ready Program (VRP) The VRP is one half day per week training and a minimum of two days each week volunteering at your Organisation.
Course Topics Include: Introduction to the Volunteer Ready Program Focus on the positives Ways to learn Responsibility-enjoy it Volunteering-what's in it for the Volunteer? Customer service Effective communication Working through any difficulties Your future development
Course timetable: Starting in may 2010 There will be 2 groups-the First Group will have training on Mondays and the Second Group will have training on Thursdays.
All training will be: 9.30am-1.00pm Volunteering participation in this training will help develop positive outcomes to self-esteem, network, development and personal growth. Phone to arrange interview appointments for your Volunteers for prior the program. Training sessions to be held at Northern Volunteering SA. Participants will be required to attend all 6 of the 3 hour training sessions; plus the two days of volunteering.
