Seasonal Basics

For this year’s special edition collection, I have chosen to realize an idea I have had for quite some time, Seasonal Basics with a charming mix of small-patterned printed and woven fabrics. I have called the concept Creating Memories, and it is divided into four seasons by color – Spring and Easter Pastels; Summer and Ocean Blues; Autumn, Thanksgiving, Halloween; and Winter Reds and Greens.

Although Creating Memories is divided into seasonal colorways, this small-patterned collection is versatile and useful for projects all year round. The collection is released as a Special Edition Collection in 2024 but will stay on as a basic in the Tilda concept for years to come.

Creating Memories is perfect for classic quilts, but also fun for softies and small figurative appliqués, where the small buttons will come in handy. With the collection we have used Tilda chambrays and Tilda solid Dove White. You can see all our other basic fabrics in the Basic Catalogue. The Spring and Easter Pastels colorway is a sweet collection of yellows, pinks and greens with a hint of teal – wonderfully welcoming colors for Spring and Easter projects.
