Sofia Tsao Wei-Cheng Huang Tom Cheng Hsieh Wei-Chen 2014 台灣設計師週 - 媽媽設計“KEY TO...” ，TWO+LAB在重塑媽 媽設計的核心價值後變得特別不一樣了。“KEY TO...” 在這裏指的是 通往關於設計這檔事的訣竅。我們這次邀集了十位設計師，透過他們 巧手所創造出的美麗設計在展覽中大公開製作過程的「眉角」後，設 計將不再遙不可及。我們由衷希望素人們能在 “KEY TO...” 中啟發對 生活的靈感，按圖索驥且不假他人之手創作出屬於自己的美好設計。

Concept: 集媽媽的基本技能於大成，縫紉、耐心與細心， 將玩具賦予新·生·命
A brilliant combination of a mother can be seen on this masterpiece. The toy is given a new life as the mother sews her delicate care and patience for her child into the toy.

Concept: 氣泡布一直都是小配角，如同舞台上的綠葉；但 憑著獨特魅力，也能是發光發熱的重要角色。 As a bit-role, bubble wrap is never the spotlight of anything until its unique charm revealed. Our new celebrity glows and shines.
Concept: 氣球、漿糊水與碎紙的混和成型，及標籤貼紙的 花紋點綴，製作出百分百環保的仙人掌紙燈。 The Cactus Lamp is 100% eco-friendly which is mixed paste, papers, balloon and stickers to allow people shape the lamp freely.
Concept: 穿不到的衣服永遠像山一樣多，收不完的東西永 遠沒有一個家。把衣服變成生活收納的好幫手！
Always too many clothes to wear, always too many stuff to tidy up, Let us transform the clothes to become one of your storage helper.
Concept: 廢棄的水電材料經重組即成時髦冷調燭台，搭配 撞色餐燭，讓餐桌輕鬆瀰漫工業感氛圍。 The abandoned hydroelectric materials can be restructured to become fashionable and cool candleholder, creating a sense of Industrial atmosphere.

Concept: 廢棄的紙盒、鋁箔包經過各種裁切與卡槽結構組 合後，也能重生為防止紅酒滴落的甜甜圈頸圈。 The discarded cartons and Tetra Paks can be remade to become new stuff or decorations so we may well share the refresh joys in the daily life.

Concept: 斑駁的火材盒玩具車，改變輪軸原有的用途，不 僅轉換了功能，也重新轉換跑道，繼續奔馳。 The old toy car has been eliminated, changed the usage of wheel, make toy car able to re-get on the new way, keep running.
Concept: 調和適度的水泥與水，讓美麗的拋棄式瓶罐也能 被賦予另一種更內斂的灰姿態延續容物的價值。 Mix moderate percentage of concrete with water, let the beautiful disposable bottles can be sustained its’ value in another appearance.
Concept: 矽膠濃稠而柔軟的特性，結合地心引力的吸引， 在器皿的表層上自然形成獨一無二的流體形態。 After the thick and soft Silicone attracted by gravity, the unique fluid patterns are created naturally on the surface of containers.
Concept: 繼續不捨的故事。以另一種形式，提醒著它的另 一種承載價值，它將是值得期待的另一種樣子。 Carry on reluctant to depart myself. With another form , wake up another capacity of its value. It will be worth looking forward to another face.
◤媽媽設計｜後話◢ 媽媽設計這個計劃， 主 要 希 望 透 過 展 覽 ， 教 導 大 家 「 設 計 眉 角 」 ， 目 前 展 出 的 十 件 作品並不純粹以量產 的 商 業 利 益 為 目 標 導 向 ， 而 是 希 望 透 過 設 計 分 享 ， 讓 民 眾 可 從 展覽中延伸啟發更多 靈 感 ， 不 設 限 的 自 己 動 手 去 實 行 、 去 創 作 。 未 來 有 機 會 我 們 也 考慮與合適的單位共 同 合 作 設 計 教 育 課 程 ， 媒 合 適 合 的 設 計 師 作 品 作 為 教 學 計 劃 ， 甚至參與其他展演 ， 繼 續 向 一 般 民 眾 推 廣 「 貼 近 生 活 的 常 民 設 計 」 這 樣 的 計 劃 。
