STORYLINES TO WATCH • Danny Kaspar is in his second year at Texas State as the 15th head coach in program history, after 13 years at Stephen F. Austin. • Texas State led the Sun Belt Conference in scoring defense last year at 66.0 points per game, its third lowest since 1983-84.
