A LOOK AT THE COMPETITION • Oral Roberts enters the WBI with a record of 16-15 overall and finished with a 9-7 mark as a member of the Summit League. Prior to the WBI invitation, the Golden Eagles made it to the semifinals of the Summit League Tournament as the No. 3 seed before falling to South Dakota State by a score of 59-48. • During the middle of its conference season, Oral Roberts went on a stretch of winning six out of eight games including a pair of victories over Nebraska-Omaha. • Vicky McIntyre led the Golden Eagles throughout the season with 15.6 points per game and 15.7 rebounds per game. She was the only Golden Eagle to average in double digits in either category. • McIntyre was named the Summit League Newcomer of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year as she not only the conference but the NCAA in rebounding and blocks most of the year averaging 15.7 RPG and 4.5 BPG. She recorded 145 blocks this season. • Oral Roberts has been to the postseason 10 times including six NCAA appearances. The Golden Eagles are 0-6 in NCAA Tournaments and 4-4 in the WNIT. Their last postseason appearance was the NCAA in 2013.

LAST TIME OUT • The Golden Eagles have defeated Texas State in every meeting in school history. The last meeting between the squads was on Nov. 19, 2004 when Oral Roberts won by a score of 92-53. POSTSEASON EXPERIENCE • This season marks the first time in school history that the Bobcats have gone to the postseason in back-to-back seasons. • Last season, the Bobcats earned an invitation to the WBI Tournament which marked the first postseason appearance for Texas State since the 2008 season. • The Bobcats competed against Stephen F. Austin and lost by a score of 59-51 in Nacogdoches last season in the WBI. • The Bobcats finished the Sun Belt Conference season in fourth place, tied with UT Arlington. Texas State was named the No. 4 seed in the SBC Tournament. • Texas State, in its first two seasons as a member of the Sun Belt, is one of just three schools in the past two years to make it to the semifinals of the SBC Tournament.
