A LOOK AT THE COMPETITION • Oklahoma State enters Saturday’s contest with a 4-1 overall record as a member of the Big 12 conference. The only loss on Oklahoma State’s schedule so far this season as on the road at North Carolina. • Brittney Martin and Brittany Atkins lead the Cowgirls offensively, scoring 18.3 and 17.3 points per game, respectively. • LaShawn Jones leads the team in rebounds as she has snagged 46 (9.2 per game) this season. • The Cowgirls are averaging 45.4 percent from the floor and 38.4 percent from beyond the arc. Atkins leads Oklahoma State in three-pointer percentage with 61.1 percent of her shots made.

Bobcats ultimately fell to Oklahoma State by a score of 90-55 on November 28, 2012. At the time, Oklahoma State was ranked No. 17 in the country. • Erin Peoples finished the game with 16 points, six rebounds, a block, and a steal. ABOUT THE BOBCATS • The Texas State Bobcats enter the 2014-15 season with nine returners and four newcomers. • Last season, the Bobcats earned an invitation to the WBI Tournament which marked the first postseason appearance for Texas State since the 2008 season. • Last year’s Bobcats finished with a 16-16 overall record and 12-6 conference mark.

• Jim Littell is the head coach of the Cowgirls. In 2013-14, Littell led the Cowgirls to a 25 win season as well as leading the program to its third NCAA Sweet 16 appearance.

• Texas State’s conference record was good enough to put them in a tie for third place overall in the Sun Belt Conference after originally being picked ninth by the league coaches.

• In his three seasons at the helm, the Cowgirls won 69 games which ranked first in a three-year run in school history.

• This preseason, juniors Erin Peoples and Ayriel Anderson were both chosen to All-SBC Preseason Teams.
