Rupp struck out nine batters while allowing five fly outs and one ground out in her ninth shutout of the season. This was the first perfect game thrown by a Bobcat since Katie Garnett threw one on Feb. 16, 2008 against UMKC. She earned her first Pitcher of the Week honor this past week through the Sun Belt Conference due to her perfect game. CONSECUTIVE HONORS After going 4-0 with a 0.58 last week, Rupp earned her second consecutive SBC Pitcher of the Week honors Monday afternoon. It is the fifth time this season that a Bobcat has earned the award and Rupp is the second Bobcat to have earned an SBC honor twice this season. Kendall Wiley did it earlier in the year.
