• The 2015 season marks the 17th season for the Texas State soccer team. Head coach Kat Conner has been the sole coach of the Bobcats for the entirety of the program’s existence. • The 2014 Bobcats finished with an 11-7-2 overall record and a semifinal finish in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament. Texas State fell to Troy after defeating Georgia State in the opening round. • While as the head coach of the Bobcats, Conner has collected a 171-140-23 overall record. She has led the team to nine championships and five NCAA appearances. • Last weekend, the Bobcats came away with a 4-0 shutout against former Southland Conference foe Stephen F. Austin. Until Sunday, SFA owned a nine-match home winning streak, the fifth longest in the country of its kind, before Texas State broke it. • Kira Zapalac, Lauren Prater, and Kassi Hormuth all scored goals against SFA. The fourth goal was an own goal. • The Bobcats now have three shutouts this season and are a perfect 3-0 on the road this season. • The match against Northwestern State got called due to weather and power outages. Prater scored two goals in the first 12:30 of the contest and Lynsey Curry scored the third goal before the match was called in the 34th minute. • The Bobcats are now at home for the next four contests including the first conference matches on Sept. 25 and 27.
