A LOOK AT THE COMPETITION - LAMAR Lamar comes into Friday’s contest with a 1-3-0 overall record. Kimmy Albeno and Alexus Aviles each have recorded a goal for the Cardinals. Albeno led the Cardinals in 2013 with eight goals.

Kat Conner is seeking her 160th career victory at Lamar on Friday. 2013 REVIEW With a debut in its third conference in as many seasons, the Texas State soccer team found its way to the semifinal match of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament and an 8-9-2 overall record.

Texas State finished the 2013 non-conference schedule with a 3-5-1 record, picking up home victories against Prairie View A&M and Sam Houston State while defeating Northwestern State on the road in the season opener.

The Bobcats started the conference schedule on the right foot, posting a 2-0-1 record through the first three contests, including the team’s first ever Sun Belt Conference victory on the road against Troy.

LAST TIME OUT - LAMAR The last time that the Bobcats took on the Cardinals was in 2011. Texas State defeated Lamar by a score of 2-0 in San Marcos. In five games, the Bobcats have allowed just one goal for Lamar while scoring 12. The largest margin of victory was in 2008 when Texas State won by a score of 4-0.

After the timely victory against Troy in the quarterfinal game, the Bobcats were matched up against a Western Kentucky squad who previously defeated them in the final moments of a double-overtime contest earlier in the season. With 88 minutes of scoreless action, the Lady Toppers capitalized in the 89th minute to defeat Texas State, 1-0.

QUICK BOBCAT FACTS Tori Hale is two assists away from having the most assists in program history in her career. In four games to start the season, senior Tori Hale has already scored three goals. Her career total is now up to eight after scoring five in 2012. Two of the four goal scorers this season are freshman. Rachel Grout earned her first goal against Northwestern State last Sunday. Kassi Hormuth, a freshman from Cedar Park, Texas, owns a .800 shots on goal percentage. She has scored two goals this season.

The 2013 Bobcats set a program record for most overtime contests in a single season with six, of which only one resulted in a victory.

Tori Hale, who was in her second season with the Bobcats in 2013, has made an impact as well on the all-time charts. With a team-leading nine assists to end the season, Hale tied Jessica Armendariz for the most assists in a single-season at Texas State. Armendariz set that mark back in 2000 after the program’s second season. With 15 career assists, Hale is in a tie for second, just two assists shy of Britney Curry’s record of 17 set from 2007-10. Hale finished the season named Second-Team All-
