I am extremely honored to take on the role of TYA/USA Board President. It is an incredible opportunity to work with the membership to champion and support our field and the young people we serve. During the last two years TYA/USA has experienced amazing forward momentum. Almost every part of the organization has been touched by efforts to apply our imaginations and reinvent what is possible. Looking ahead I see many more opportunities to strengthen our programs, to make resources available for our members and to drive the organization to the next level.

Great work is already in progress including a redesigned Marquee, Professional Development Webinars, and we are already counting down the days to the May 2013 One Theatre World convening at Cleveland’s PlayhouseSquare, with the theme of IGNITE: Creativity… Connection…Collaboration.
In the midst of all the work that has been accomplished and all the possibilities that lay ahead, I want to thank each of you for your contributions to the field and invite you to please contact me with your ideas, comments and suggestions.
