ART HISTORY
How can an object made thousands of years ago help us understand the society from which it came? How do artists working today shape our understanding of the world we live in now? You’ll look closely, think critically and conduct original research about works of art. The program is designed to encourage a lifelong understanding of art as a fundamental form of human expression.

The program’s expanded classroom includes the culturally rich array of museums, galleries, public art and other resources in Philadelphia, New York and Washington, D.C., opportunities to study abroad and a sophisticated and ever-evolving array of new digital technologies.
