Newly appointed to King Arthur’s round table, Sir Gawain is grappling with what it means to be a knight for the most prestigious court in the realm when, on Christmas Day, a mysterious green man appears before a party of King Arthur and his attendants. Laying down a challenge, the Green Knight initiates an event that will change the course of Gawain’s understanding of the world he once knew.

Life happened in the Serengeti on an unprecedented scale. It’s home to most of Africa’s most iconic animals and hosts one of the world’s greatest natural events — the annual wildebeest migration. Nature has orchestrated a perfect symphony in which every species has a distinct role to play in a larger story — the balance of an entire ecosystem. A film for all ages, audiences will follow the newest members of the animal cast as they imitate their parents and embark on their life’s journeys. Prepare to be awed by this immersive Giant Screen film about how nature works in one of the world’s greatest ecosystems.

ARTS FESTIVAL

Throughout the month of April, TJC offers an annual Arts Festival packed with happenings and performances collaborating between multiple departments and partnering with the Tyler Museum of Art. The festival, a celebration of the dynamic arts programs at TJC, provides rich, learning experiences for all ages. This event is a collaboration of The Bell Tower Arts Journal, International Day, the Tyler Museum of Art and the art, music, theatre, dance, communication studies, and visual communications departments. Admissions, dual credit and student activities are also joining to help generate interest and student involvement.
