REDEEMED PEOPLE PRAISE!

WE ARE GLAD TO HAVE YOU JOIN US!

COME WORSHIP WITH US! Worship is our response to God for what he has already done for us. One of the most important things we do is come together every week to experience the power of God’s presence. People from different backgrounds and generations join as one to engage in worship as a family. It is there that we are refreshed and realigned.

MORNING SERVICE

WORSHIP

At Redemption Praise Temple (RPT) we worship on Saturday mornings (The Sabbath) at 10:00 am with lively singing and lesson study. Our worship starts at 11:20 am with praise & worship, children’s corner, prayer and the spoken word. Prayer Meeting will be held on Tuesdays and will be called RECHARGED 7:30pm (TBA). OUR PURPOSE This document seeks to introduce and outline the strategic and divine plans for the Redemption Praise Temple Ministries. The Mission Statement will formally explain the aims and the values of the RPT, it will give an underlying meaning in; (1) a concise statement of what it means to be a reformed Christian and a reformed church, and (2) an expanded biblical and theological foundation for the vision, mission, and core values. Understanding the Redemption Praise Temple Ministries requires an awareness of who we are, and what has shaped and molded us. God has created and shaped the RPT and has given us a unique and wonderful identity. In His Grace and Wisdom he designed our church to fulfill his plan and purpose. We believe that we are

called to live and proclaim the good news of redemption which transform lives and communities worldwide. In order to effectively live within God’s plan, it is important that we understand His calling. Therefore, the plan and purpose of the Ministry is to reach the Community of St. Albans and everyone that it comes in contact with. Our mandate is to teach people how to reach God even in brokenness, and to maintain a daily walk with Christ. The last days are upon us and Christ will soon return and we know that the mandate to reach the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ is within us.

WHY RPT?

WHO ARE WE

1. God has made it clear that he has come to call sinners unto repentance, and its time sinners/people start feeling safe coming in the house of the Lord in spite of their sins, problems, addiction, or/and their propensities.

We are a Self-Supporting Ministry. By self-supporting ministry we mean:

2. Redeemed People Raise. We consider our sanctuary a place where people can come and feel free to praise the Lord, because all have sin and fallen short of his glory, but through His grace we are redeemed and are free to praise the Lord in spite of our past and down falls. 3. We are the temple of the living God, because the Bible makes it clear that we should build Him a temple and He will dwell within it, so we at RPT welcome him as Emmanuel. We are not an anti-organizational Ministry; we however have come to the realization that the church needs to modify its approach on reaching out to the lost and the broken, because the ending of time is upon us.

1. We are not an INDEPENDENT ORGANIZATION from the Seventh-day Adventist church that is detached doctrinally, philosophically or emotionally. 2. We will be funding our mission without appropriation from the conference or any organized congregation. 3. We plan to raise funds through investment, evangelism, giving (Tithe and offerings) or donations.

MISSION STATEMENT The mission of the Redemption Praise Ministries is to reach everyone with the redemptive message of Jesus Christ. We are a non-judgmental and loving congregation that believe in the Three Angels Message, and the second coming of Jesus Christ. We are commissioned to use the message of redemption to all who we come in contact with, according to Romans 8:1.

VISION “Redeeming people through the gospel of Jesus Christ and empowering them to reach out to others”.

OUR WORSHIP We are a contemporary/creative congregation which seek to connect every member with a personal relationship with the aid of the Holy Spirit through prayer, praise, worship, bible study, the spoken word, evangelism and fellowship with God. The obvious strength of a contemporary/ creative a worship is that church services generally feel less foreign to newcomers, and church members may have an easier time connecting their faith with their lives. After worship, a warm meal will be served on special occasions followed by a lively bible study about our foundational doctrines.

At our church, we empower lives through our worship and groom children and youth to emerge as excellent worship leaders by taking part in the planning and the preparation of church and community services. Families who come to hear their children participate in church worship feel at home. Most importantly, children and youth begin to believe that they belong in the sanctuary. Having been welcome as full participants in the community of faith, it is our hope that they will be more likely to return to the church as adults or make worship a regular part of their adult lives wherever they reside.
