#Tanzania makes it big, INTERNATIONALLY! NO.1 SAFARI COUNTRY OF AFRICA According to a survey conducted by Safari Bookings, the largest web portal marketing for African Safari Tours, Tanzania outshined as the No 1. Safari Country of Africa 2017. The results were declared after an analysis conducted on above 2,500 safari experts and safarigoers who responded favorably to their experiences in Tanzania. This is the second time Tanzania has won the accolade; the first was in 2013 when it beat the safari destinations in the sub-Saharan Africa. Tanzania has also been named as the top destination for wildlife experiences and Zambia stands out as No 1 for its bush experiences. STARDOM forecast American actor and film producer, Harrison Ford visited Serengeti National Park earlier last month for a much acclaimed ‘private visit.’ Harrison is the famous Hollywood actor known for his starring roles as Han Solo in the Star Wars film series. Meanwhile, American awardwinning singer, songwriter, dancer, and actor Usher Raymond also visited the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania with his family . “This trip has been amazing…so happy to experience this beauty w my family,” Usher tweeted. Everton For A Cause Everton arrived in Tanzania ahead of their pre-season friendly with Kenyan Champions Gor Mahia. The players were welcomed by a Maasai tribe and plenty of locals to greet the Blues. Leighton Baines remarked, “It is very interesting for us as the Maasai welcome is not something we see at home. We’ve just come straight off the plane and we are all excited to be here” However the highlight of their presence in Tanzania was the limelight on Albino United FC meeting Michael Keane, Mo Besic and Tom Davies at the Uhuru Stadium in Dar-es-Salaam. Albino United FC was launched to show the world that albinos are like everyone else and they wanted to spread the message by example. Ronald Koeman’s Everton side is now the first Premier League team to play in Tanzania when they take on SportPesa Super Cup champions Gor Mahia at the 60,000 capacity Tanzania National Main Stadium.

FAMILY SAFARI A safari with kids in Tanzania involves detailed planning and multiple factors that you essentially need to consider. There are several tour operators that offer you varied packages, however you should be picky with the uniqueness, especially for a wilderness safari.
Here are some top factors you should have in mind for a tailor-made safari experience with family. 1. A CUSTOMIZED PACKAGE Traveling with kids certainly requires attention to the most delicate needs. Choose a tour operator that pays attention to your requests and has a packed designed around your interests. You date of travel, choice of safari destination, health precautions, mode of transport should all have guidelines that focus on kids safety. 2. CHOOSE FAMILY FRIENDLY LODGES There are plenty of lodges that offer budget accommodations and for obvious reasons, are crowded. Do a good research and choose a lodge that is in proximity of wildlife and yet offers a personalize experience‌ in other words, value for money. Choose a hotel or a lodge that encourage family stays and are distinctly favorable as per your needs.
14
3. GET ENOUGH REST A safari can get exhilarating especially while traveling for long hours and during sunny days. Choose to take enough breaks before and after the national parks. You will not be able to change much once your itinerary is planned. Therefore make the best plans that ďŹ rst suit your kids. 4. REQUEST FOR THE BEST SAFARI GUIDE Safaris are often a once in a life-time experience for most travelers with families. You have every right to ensure that you are getting the best, especially when it is with the kids who have a curious mind. Ensure your safari company is giving you their best private guide, one who shares an excellent rapport with kids and are always energetic. 5. BEST CHILD RATES Your happiness quotient matters the most and when it is about traveling with family, getting the best quotes is one of the pre-requisite. At times the price may seem steep however always check on the value for money. For instance the safari operator may offer a ight instead of road journey, which is better as long road journeys make many kids cranky who do not enjoy a thorough safari experience.
