SECRET
PLACES
Photos by Daniel Msirikale
Pangani
Situated on the mouth of river Pangani, this historically and culturally rich town unfolds a new story to the traveler. Perhaps one of the best kept beach secret where green sea turtles breed, coral reefs thrive and tropical marine is seen is here at this little hidden paradise, 50 Kms south of Tanga. Pangani appears like an emerging village through which the river meanders, where small farmers dwell and where coconut fringes swing to the starry skies. With the prevalence of few lodges and resort in this area, the town is often uncrowded and gives you opportunity to enjoy the beach life to the fullest.
8
It is here you can immerse in historical experiences by taking the town tour; visit the slave market or enjoy a relaxing day, cruising by the Pangani river, snorkeling at the Maziwe Marine Park and go for a day road trip to the connecting Saadani National Park. Visits to green turtle sights cycling around the sisal plantations and fishing with the local are another thrilling experiences in Pangani. Planning for a quite weekend retreat, a romantic getaway or a road trip with your friends? Pangani is an interesting secret place to consider.

This holiday is not only going to be special but with Tanzania in your itinerary, there is something unique, thrilling and unforgettable to expect. Here are some honeymoon treats you should look forward to in Tanzania.
Spa
The best thing after arriving to your favorite beach resort or safari lodge is the exclusive couple spa services. From spacious rooms facing the breezy bay to open-air verandas above the vast verdant plains, spa experiences in Tanzania are something to look forward to. Indulge in divine body therapies and massages with natural and aromatic ingredients that offer nothing but relaxation to your mind, body and soul.
10
Exotic Destinations
We recommend you skip the most popular destinations that often get crowded by tourists and instead go to places like South Tanzania. This region becoming increasingly popular amongst honeymoon couples- Selous Game Reserve and Ruaha National Park are the gems of the safari circuit and has everything exciting from walking safaris to jacuzis and candle lit dinners under the baobab tree.
Hot Air Balloon Safari
If you happen to be in Serengeti or Tarangire, you should not miss the ariel views of the wild. Balloon Safaris come at a price but are totally worth the value. Enjoy dreamy views of the savannah; towers of giraffes and herds of elephants racing to save their lives from the hungry predators. Although the views from the top are a treasure to behold, the champagne breakfast is also the highlight after your glorious ride.
Photo shoots
Tanzania is a very scenic destination and whether you are by the coast or in the wild, there is something that you certainly should not miss outphotographs! Hire a photographer, ask your guide or use a self time mood. Zanzibar, Katavi, Serengeti and the underwater magic of Pemba are make for amazing photo backdrops, gifting you fond memories for a lifetime.

Zanzibar is an island where the couple always feels in Paradise
Talking about the beauty of Zanzibar is extremely easy, there are no islands that manage to have everything you find here, from food to culture, from nature to the sea, always people smiling to you, children who love you without ever having seen you!! Zanzibar is easy to love, not by chance many hotels have in their name the word paradise or a word that relates to the stars. Well, what better place to organize your wedding, if you want to organize it in Stone Town, you can choose between romantic places on the sea like the Beach House or a hotel like the Serena where you can feel all the scents and the history of Zanzibar, there are smaller and more charming but no less fascinating places, just think of an old hotel 20 years as the Warere still remained as once that can accommodate a few customers with a small terrace and excellent service.
20
If you want to organize just the dinner with the ceremony just go to the African house with its spectacular terrace overlooking the sea with one of the most beautiful sunset, or directly on the beach at the Beach House, or in the old part of the city just like the old Emerson with all its charm and its terrace that dominates throughout Zanzibar is one of the master piece of Zanzibar! But if you have come here for the sea and the beaches, all you have to do is turn around there are dozens of hotels from the north to the south just like La Gemma dell’Est or White Sand, the Baraza Resort, the Next Paradise, the Zalu hotel, or the beautiful Tulia. But you will not only stop at the big hotels there are small boutique hotels that will surely satisfy and make your wedding unique, I'll tell you somewhere like Zanzibar House or SharazÄ d Boutique Hotel, Ujamaa Beach Resort, Game Fish lodge but believe me turn and you will surely find... your own paradise. Do not forget that you can take an island just for your wedding like Chumbe Island or The Rock restaurant, if you are not happy I'm sure you'll find somewhere else. If you have a limited budget, you can always find hotels like Kiganja, perfect in all their privacy and where the customer is pampered in all his requests. Zanzibar lends itself even if you want to organize a wedding in the forest among thousands of coconut trees or between streams and endless meadows, or on a boat with your best friends‌ Zanzibar will never tell you no... Zanzibar is the paradise in the Earth. By an Italian in love with Zanzibar This article is written from his heart. Thank you Massimiliano

Zanzibar House was built in 2012 as vacation home for a mature Italian couple to share with his family, but due to the lack of interest by the children of the owners, they transformed it into a luxury b & b. Zanzibar House was voted by Tripadvisor as the best b & b to Tanzania for 2017 and in the ranking of b & b in Africa is the twenty-fourth, not bad for being open for just three years!!! Zanzibar House is a Boutique Hotel located on the North East coast of the island, in the Matemwe area at 40 kms from Stone Town, offers a total of 7 rooms, 5 overlooking the ocean and 2 with views over the rich palm vegetation that surrounds the area. Each room has a carved by hand door made by a local carpenter that recall the antique doors of wealthy merchants of Stone Town. All rooms are equipped with hot water, air conditioning, fan, satellite television, safe box and tea and coffee facilities; all have large balconies
with comfy coconut wood furnished in typical Zanzibar style. The restaurant presents Italian, international and also celebrates local cuisine with special care in the choice of fresh local produce; The chef make a fusion of Italian and international cuisine. We proud orselves of always accommodate our guests' needs therefore we do offer gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options. We are proud to have been reported from Booking.com for the quality of our food. Zanzibar House always does its best to make the promised spouses feel in paradise.
