My work is made up of creativity and passion for design, enthusiasm and curiosity for materials, respect and care for those who wear my clothes. It was enough to meet Michela Uzzeni to understand that the values that have moved me in these last twenty years of work, would continue the same in this new challenge: the first U-POWER clothing collection. our style ITALIAN DESIGN, U-POWER STYLING U-POWER introduces the new line of clothing under the unmistakable symbol of the lion. Style, comfort, 100% Italian design and functionality: these are the keywords that have driven us in the development of the collection during 2013 and characterise each product. The meeting between Maria Teresa Castelli, synonymous with Italian style and creativity, and Piero Bressan, whose excellence and knowledge in the process of the industrialisation of the product, has brought to U- Power the Wear Collection, protected and registered under the name RD (Registered Design), for all people who face life with courage and determination, but always with a smile.

Piero Bressan I have been working for 30 years, with my staff, in the industrialisation and development of clothing and garments, translating the creativity of designers into operational tools for industry and production around the world. The attention to detail in the development of fit and patterns, the prototyping and the coordination of the products are key steps to ensure the final result. A highly technological fabric developed to guarantee maximum resistance to abrasions, cuts, tears and perforations, it is also light and easy to maintain. Cordura ® is a registered trademark of INVISTA for durable fabrics.

LYCRA ® is a synthetic fibre-stretch, patented by DuPont. This fibre can be used in all types of fabrics and combined with all other fibres, both natural and synthetic. It can stretch up to seven times its length and then return to its original size unchanged. It does not lose any of its characteristics even when washed frequently. For this reason, the garments made in LYCRA ® maintain their comfort for a long time and constantly follow and adapt themselves with the movement of the body.

The fibres used in the fabric COOLMAX ® drive and guide the perspiration from the body to the surface of the garment allowing it to evaporate quickly. At the same time, these fibres offer maximum breathability, even when wet. This technology makes the clothes feel more comfortable, stay drier longer and improves durablity.

The THERMOLITE ® coating, in addition to its lightness, gives more insulation and facilitates moisture evaporation. The THERMOLITE ® coating, thanks to the technology of DuPont hollow fibre offers superior performance in addition to softness and comfort.

This technology improves the visibility of workers at night and in low-light conditions, through the use of reflective materials of the highest quality. 3M™ SCOTCHLITE™ is synonymous of innovation and safety for people wearing U-POWER clothes.

STORM SHELL technology is designed to keep the body safe and dry even in the most adverse weather conditions: comfort and protection at all times.

COMBAT is a system of reinforcement in the hem of the trousers using a special anti-abrasive material. Protecting the cloth in environments where elements such as water, cement etc.. putting an extra strain on the traditional working fabrics.

It is a fabric made of flexible and light materials, able to shield and block the electromagnetic waves produced by mobile phones. BESAFE offers better body protection against risks to human health from electromagnetic pollution.

POWERFIT is a high-performing fabric introduced into material of the product offering graduated compression, ensuring better blood circulation and improving the cool-down as a result of scientific research. POWERFIT is made with seamless technology, for maximum comfort.

Allowing the wearer to use the touch screens on smartphones and tablets without compromising safety and security in the workplace, through a special conductive fibre inserted within the index finger. TAP&TOUCH gloves are compatible with all touch screen devices.

Prolonged exposure to sunlight, may be harmful. Clothing with U-POWER UV BLOCK protection gives a UPF (ultraviolet protection factor) of 40 +. We tested our garments according to the international standard UNI EN 13758-1:2007.

FREE POCKET is designed, offering maximum capacity within regular sized pockets. Thus ensuring natural movement of the body in all working environments and positions.

The textile manufacturing process STONEY is used to give to a new garment a unique colour and characteristic. The stone wash helps to improve the softness and flexibility of the fibres.

FREE SOUND is created for practicality in everyday life. U-POWER clothes have a system of soft silicone that allows your earphones to pass through the jacket from the inside pocket, ensuring tangle free cables and reducing potential damage.

Protection against rain UNI EN 343/2008: performance levels

Instructions for use The PPE has been designed using the essential safety and health prescribed by Directive 89/686/EEC transposed by Legislative Decree no. 475/92, as amended, and in such a way as to be in compliance with UNI EN 340/2004 on the general requirements for protective clothing. The PPE is designed so that, in the foreseeable conditions of use, can provide adequate protection to the user and can be classified according to Directive 89/686/EEC in the second category and according to the standard of your products, the resulting performance the evidence to which the prototypes were subjected. Such benefits are indicated by the pictogram and its indexes to it side by side, determinants on the basis of instructions given in product standards to which the PPE is compliant.

This standard specifies the requirements on materials and seams of protective clothing by factors such as rain, snow, fog, and soil moisture. The garments are designed and constructed using waterproof and breathable fabrics paying particular attention to sealing all seams to ensure a high level of comfort. x = class refers to the impermeability of the garment (class 1 to 3) y = class refers to the breathability of the garment (class 1 to 3) P FOR PER RMAN ANCE CE

Marking The label (that measures 5,5 x 10,8 cm) bearing the CE marking can be fixed inside the garment. The the characters and pictograms are red on black and resistant to the washing cycles indicated. The font sizes are larger than 2 mm and the dimensions of the written EC are greater than 5 mm. The specific size of the garment will be placed on a separate label. Are indicated:

UNI EN 471/2003: this standard specifies the requirements for high visibility clothing so that all people who work in low-light conditions, both during the day and during the night, are always visible. The fluorescent fabric ensures great visibility in daylight, while the reflective strips provide high visibility at night. The clothing is divided into 3 classes, where class 3 is the most luminescent. Putting together two garments of class 2 (eg. Trousers + jacket) is equivalent to class 3. The items in the collection are made using U-POWER 3M™ reflective 8910 according to class 2 for reflective materials.
