All reviews take place on Saturdays, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Basic Math Refresher This session reviews the skills you’ll need for the Quantitative Review—fractions, percents, decimals, exponents and signed numbers; order of operations; basic linear equations; equations with two unknowns; basic word problems; and line graphs. Evaluate your need for this review by visiting www.ubalt.edu/alc and clicking on Math Resources, then on Basic Math for the GMAT. $29 Quantitative Review This 16-hour review (four sessions) prepares you for the two quantitative question types encountered on the GMAT. The course is also excellent preparation for graduate quantitative business courses. Consider taking our Basic Math Refresher (see above) to brush up on your basic math skills before the Quantitative Review. $85 Critical Reasoning Review This review provides you with tips for understanding and evaluating critical reasoning arguments. While practicing with real GMAT questions, you’ll develop strategies for identifying common critical-reasoning question types and avoiding common reading and thinking errors. $29 Reading Comprehension Review This review provides you with tips for reading carefully and efficiently and with techniques for reading online. While practicing with real GMAT questions, you’ll learn to identify the six 11

common reading comprehension question types and avoid common reading mistakes. $29 Sentence Correction Review You’ll review the most common problem areas: pronouns, verbs, modifiers, comparisons and lists. In addition, you’ll practice with actual exam questions and review effective strategies. $29 Analytical Writing Assessment Many M.B.A. programs are interested in evaluating how well you write. The GMAT’s Analytical Writing Assessment requires you to write two essays in one hour. This review provides general strategies for both essay types (analyzing an issue and critiquing an argument), equips you with techniques for writing under pressure and gives you customized tips based on writing you’ll do during the review. Class size is limited to 10 people. $29
