Workshops for Workplace and Classroom Success OPEN TO THE PUBLIC From writing skills to hands-on computer training, the University of Baltimore Achievement and Learning Center offers a variety of workshops to help you succeed in the workplace and in the classroom. There’s something for everyone. Workshops are open to the public. GMAT reviews, Accuplacer test preparation, computer skills and professional communication workshops require a registration fee to reserve a seat; all other workshops require only an R.S.V.P. through UB’s online calendar, www.ubalt.edu/calendar. The GMAT’s Analytical Writing Assessment requires you to write two essays in one hour. This review provides general strategies for both essay types (analyzing an issue and critiquing an argument), equips you with techniques for writing under pressure and gives you customized tips based on writing you’ll do during the review.
