Neck-laced Grenade acknowledges the grenade as an archetype for the abundance of war. The artwork contrasts the complexities of fragility and violence. The context in which the object of adornment is worn or displayed is intended to provoke a dialogue preformed by the viewer in which meaning is attached and conversation becomes open.
