Sermon Title: Filled to Divine Potential
Sermon Text: 1 Cor 2:14-15 . 1 Cor 12:13 . John 7:37-38 Eph 5:18
Small Group Text: John 15:5-12
Introduction :
Who in your Group has the best “dead car battery” story from their experience? What happened? What did it take to remedy the situation? Would anyone be willing to share a time in life where your personal “battery” ran dry. What happened? What did it take to remedy the situation? In this week’s sermon we heard about “plugging in, charging up, and living it out.” Tonight (today) we’re going to focus on how Jesus said we can stay plugged in to Him and stay charged up for life. He didn’t have batteries and chargers to illustrated his point so he used an agricultural picture that his listeners would understand. Let’s see how we can stay plugged in and charged up on God’s power.
