of each other, in buying or selling without the intention to buy, do not increase prices just to dodge. Do not be spiteful of each other. Do not be indifferent towards each other. None among you should try to trade on goods that someone else is buying or selling. Become people of Allah and then become brother of each other. A Muslim is a brother of a Muslim. Neither does he oppress him. Nor does he tolerate the one who oppresses him. He does not leave him helpless. He does not consider him wretched and low. At this point the prophet of Allah ‫ ﷺ‬pointed towards his chest and said thrice: Belief is here. For a person to

be bad it is enough that he considers his Muslim brother inferior. The blood of a Muslim, his wealth, his respect, his dignity, is forbidden (to be profaned or snatched) by another Muslim (Muslim). This is a tradition of Hazrat Saeed Khadri ‫ رضی ہللا عنہ‬that Hazrat Muhammad ‫ ﷺ‬said that in the night of Ramadhan a

believer offers his prayers. On every prostration of this prayer, 1500 rewards are written for him. And a house is made for him in the heaven made of red pearls that is so huge, that has 60,000 doors and on every door there is a palace of gold. (Meaning that 60,000 palaces are made). And in the whole Ramadhan at any time, whether it is day or night, if he prostrates, he finds such a big tree in the shadow of which five riders run for 500 years. (Al-Targheeb a Tarheeb vol. 2, page. 93)

For Increase in Respect and Ranks: The person who shall recite the name ‫ یا تواب‬as soon as he gets up in the morning, his respect shall be increased.

It is quoted by Hazrat ibn-e-Abbas (‫)رضی ہللا عنہ‬, he (‫ )رضی ہللا عنہ‬says that once upon a time he was sitting on a conveyance behind Hazrat Muhammad (‫)ﷺ‬, You (‫ )ﷺ‬said: “O boy, I shall teach you a few things. And that is to always remember Allah Almighty and he shall remember you and you will find him ahead of you (meaning that you remain involved in zikr of Allah Almighty, he shall save you from sins and give you strength for doing good deeds). If you want to ask for something (from someone) then always ask from Him. And if you need help seek it from Him. The Saudi Economic Recession and Our Tragedy

I have just returned from the journey of Hajj. History’s strangest economic crisis has started in Saudi Arabia.

This economic crisis was in 1918. When the First World War reached its end. The Jews and Christians exceeded so much in killing each other that millions of lives were lost. And the dreams of making a nuclear bomb were seen. And then in the Second World War, which happened between 1941 and 1945, with a sacrifice of millions of lives Hiroshima and Nagasaki became victims of the atomic bomb. Today it is the same Saudi Arabia that has once again been engulfed with the same kind of economic crisis once again.

How shall this crisis end after all? The old name of Saudi Arabia was Hijaaz, how shall that be retained?

These are the questions and to give their satisfying answers is beyond my apprehension at the moment.

Right now what I would want to say to you is something that not the need of this time but for every time and era. And that is about their immigrants who are called “ajnabi” over there. Taxes upon taxes and difficulties upon difficulties came upon ajnabis so much so that I saw such people coming back to their countries. Or they met me or I heard their stories. Those who were living there for more than 50 years.

Who leaves one’s own country and goes to another country whether it is Muslim or non-Muslim. Certainly to improve the economic situation. 99 percent of people are such that who go under the influence of economic crisis or familial poverty and impoverishment. Or such people who go to attain higher education or to achieve better employment. But at this time the thing that we received a lot to hear were the complaints and negative things, back biting and such a system of hatred that can perhaps not be described in words. If we pay attention to it with a cool mind, then every person who is living there has left their own country. In the beginning those people served them with a lot of hospitality and care. I have heard so much so that restrictions and all the new strict laws are there because of us. We gave them suggestions. Now when our state has improved, there are so much people who have made big bungalows, mansions, vehicles, higher education for children and their millions of expenditures, gold jewelry, bangles, sets of diamonds, and huge properties, so much so that the factories and mills were erected using the businesses in Saudi Arabia. How many people are such that who spend lives over there and their wealth and properties have made them affluent. How does it sound good that we call them bad? I have 100% concern for this thing that there are good and bad things in every society. And similarly every person is composed of good and bad qualities. But what a strange thing is this to criticize Saudi Arabia and its people all the time. Why do we not see our own flaws? How many expatriates are such who stole there, defrauded, and engaged in contraband activities. There is a place in Jeddah with the name of Bani Maalik, where every illegal document and activity is not done by a Saudi but a foreigner. Then why did this happen? They fed us a lot. Our kids grew up. They got married. They had children and so much so that we became affluent.

I had to go to someone’s house in Makkah Mukarma. That was a big house. In which a person could easily walk around for health and fitness, meaning it was such a big house. Its lower portion was a huge storage place, in which there was a hige factory for making gold. He is living there for the past 45 years. That they are offspring of companions and the family of the Holy Prophet (‫)ﷺ‬. Day before yesterday on the 27th of August I had a chance to meet with a Saudi in whose house I had to stay.

And in the evening I had a flight. He came for a meeting over there. He is in Saudi Army. He belonged to the Zahraani family of the Dosi tribe. And many renowned companions, so much so, that he astonished me by telling me that he was Hazrat Abu Hurairah’s (‫)رضی ہللا عنہ‬

Our Hazrat Syed Muhammad Abdullah Hajveri (‫ )رحمت ہللا علیہ‬used to say that people with affection are like thin thread! If the affair is resolved, they will be like all praise, and if it is not, they will hate back. If they hear about a miracle or see it, they will be like Subhan Allah! And if they hear or see another thing, they will be like Astaghfirullah. People with affection are just like thin thread!

Journey of Baluchistan and Meeting with a Dervish

Companions of Prophet Muhammad (‫ )ﷺ‬saw miracles of Holy Prophet (‫ )ﷺ‬and they saw problems of him (‫ )ﷺ‬as well. On one hand there are those miracles that pebbles are speaking in your fist. And they are reciting the Kalimah too. A Bedouin was taking away a dead iguana. They used to eat iguanas. He pointed towards the dead iguana and said, ok thats fine, if you are prophet of Allah (‫ )ﷺ‬then ask this iguana to attest that. And he threw the iguana in front of you (‫)ﷺ‬. By the will of Allah and the dead iguana became alive and testified the prophethood of Hazrat Muhammad (‫ )ﷺ‬and the oneness and truth of Allah

Almighty. This is a miracle of Hazrat Muhammad (‫)ﷺ‬. And even such states came in front of companions that in the battle of Uhad that teeth of Hazrat Muhammad (‫ )ﷺ‬were martyred. You (‫ )ﷺ‬were drenched in blood. In the battle of Tabuk, you (‫ )ﷺ‬put your hand in a utensil and springs of water gushed out of your

hands. The whole gathering drank water to the fullest. In the same battle of Tabuk, you (‫ )ﷺ‬fed the whole

And companions (‫ )رضوان ہللا علیہم اجمعین‬also saw this state as well that on the stomach of Hazrat Muhammad, three stones are tied. When the belief is firm, then whatever state comes, the tongue says ‘Al-Hamd-o-lillah’, all praise be to Allah. And if the belief is not firm, confidence and faith are not firm, then when they saw conquest and help, they are alike wow! When they saw a test and torment, they shied away.

Once I went to Dera Bugti with the permission of Hazrat Syed Muhammad Abdullah Hajveri (‫)رحمت ہللا علیہ‬.

When we reached Dera Bugti, they had our car parked over there. They said, you cannot go any further than this on your own car. And then the chief of the Jhagraani Baluch tribe, pir Ghulam Rasul Jhagraani, gave us his car: He said, they will either aim at your car (for shooting) or they will snatch it. Journey in my car will be safer for you.

While traveling in their car we reached our destination on the second day. By the order of Sheikh Murshadi Hajveri (‫)رحمت ہللا علیہ‬, we had gone to meet a dervish of Allah. By the grace of Allah, till today I have never gone to meet anyone without the permission of my Sheikh. I respect everyone, but the permission of Sheikh is also very important. That dervish was blind. A bull-cart was set aside for him in which there were two oxen. People used to serve these bulls. Hazrat would know as soon as he would wave his hand. He was capable of seeing the unseen as well. And he had wonders too. He would say at once upon shaking hands that whether the person they shook hands with was a dog, a pig, or a human being. He used to tear apart the curtain. We were four people. From among the four of us, he only called one a human being.

At the same place in Baluchistan we were sitting with the dervish and having food. In the meanwhile a few dogs came along. One dog was a bit harsh natured. At our place as well, we give food to cats every day. I stand by and observe them. One cat does not let the other cat eat. Similarly, over there as well a few dogs were sitting a bit far. And a huge dog, after filling his stomach, would lick his tongue and the body. After that a few other dogs would come and would start eating. Now that dervish hazrat threw bread to the dogs. The dogs were eating bread. Although you were blind, but Allah Almighty had given him eyes of the heart. People of Allah, seek eyes of the heart from Allah Almighty! These eyes of the heart are a blessing.

And they are not found to everyone! Allah gives them to some chosen people. And this is not such an impossible thing. But it is also not a very cheap thing that you will find them in the bazars! You find them with constant service. They are not found in the treasures of kings. And the service should also be such a service that in which you do not even lift your head and nor that service has the desire to receive recognition that someone shall say to me thank you! Respected Hazrat Hakeem sahib, Assalam-o-alaikum! Please accept heartiest salutations from me for yourself and the whole team of Allama Laahooti Pur-israari. How did I connect with Ubqari? A friend of mine Multan whose name is Hakeem Saeed came to me in Peshawar. Hakeem Saeed said to me, you should take Ubqari magazine every day. This is a wonderful magazine. Thousands of people’s problems are being solved while sitting at home due to Ubqari. I have a spiritual deed for the ailments of eyes, I am presenting it to the readers of Ubqari. If someone has a problem with the eyes, he should recite durood sharif before and after 3 times and recite [ ‫ ]یا نور یا بصیر یا رحمن یا رحیم‬five times and make dum on both hands and rub over both eyes. This deed should be done for 3, 5, 7 or 9 days or even more than that.

When the problems of the eyes are resolved, and then abandon this deed and when again you have a problem with the eyes, you can do this deed again. (M Ejaz Khan, Peshawar)

Holy Prophet Muhammad ‫ ﷺ‬once said that had there been a Prophet after him, he would have been Hazrat Umar ‫رضی ہللا عنہا‬. Holy Prophet Muhammad ‫ ﷺ‬once warned, “Maintaining bigotry towards Hazrat Umar ‫ رضی ہللا عنہا‬is akin to maintaining bigotry towards me and extending respect to Hazrat Umar ‫ رضی ہللا عنہا‬is akin to extending respect to me.” Holy Prophet Muhammad ‫ ﷺ‬once said, “One evening in Arafat Almighty Allah felt proud of all Muslims especially Hazrat Umar ‫رضی ہللا عنہ‬.” Holy Prophet Muhammad ‫ ﷺ‬said, “Almighty Allah has designated a scholar of Hadith (Muhaddis) for every saying of every Prophet, and Hazrat Umar ‫ رضی ہللا عنہا‬is scholar of Hadith for my Ummah.” The respectful companions asked that who Muhaddis is for. Holy Prophet Muhammad ‫ ﷺ‬said that Muhaddis is the one whose discussion is referred to by Angels.

Once Holy Prophet Muhammad ‫ ﷺ‬asked his companions that who among them had enjoined funeral.

Hazrat Umar ‫ رضی ہللا عنہ‬replied that he had just attended a funeral. Holy Prophet Muhammad ‫ ﷺ‬asked that who among them had attended a patient. Hazrat Umar ‫ رضی ہللا عنہ‬replied that he had just attended a patient. Holy Prophet Muhammad ‫ ﷺ‬asked that who among them had given alms. Hazrat Umar ‫رضی‬ ‫ ہللا عنہ‬replied that he had. Holy Prophet Muhammad ‫ ﷺ‬asked that who had fasted. Hazrat Umar ‫رضی ہللا‬

‫ عنہ‬replied that he had fasted. Seeing his inclination towards good deeds, Holy Prophet Muhammad ‫ﷺ‬ said that it has become obligatory for Hazrat Umar ‫ رضی ہللا عنہ‬to abode in Heaven.

A strange incident narrated by Jinn

At mid-night for three consecutive nights After I had slept for some while A jinni would come and tell That a true Prophet from honoured tribe Lawi Bin Ghalib has arrived I then embarked Through plain fields and reached you I bear witness that Allah is Almighty And alone to be worshipped O ye the most respected son!

Bind together the believers!

O ye the best of mankind!

Order that we die performing!

May the Prophet recognizes me the day, When no one would each other by any way!

One day a man passed by Hazrat Umar Bin Khatab ‫رضی ہللا عنہ‬. One of the companions asked, “Caliph!

Do you know who has just passed by you?” Hazrat Umar ‫ رضی ہللا عنہ‬replied no and asked that who he was. The companion told that he was Hazrat Sawad Bin Kaab ‫ رضی ہللا عنہ‬whom a jinn had communicated a glad tiding about the prophethood of Hazrat Muhammad ‫ﷺ‬. Hazrat Umar ‫رضی ہللا عنہ‬ called him back and asked if he was Hazrat Sawad Bin Kaab ‫رضی ہللا عنہ‬. He replied yes. Hazrat Umar ‫ رضی ہللا عنہ‬then asked if he practiced necromancy before embracing Islam. This annoyed Hazrat Sawad Bin Kaab ‫رضی ہللا عنہ‬. He said, “No one has ever talked me about the practice I have forsaken ever since I embraced Islam.” Hazrat Umar ‫ رضی ہللا عنہ‬said, “Subhan Allah! I was a polytheist before embracing Islam, and this is a sin graver than sorcery.” “Tell me how the jinn gave you tiding about Holy Prophet Muhammad ‫ﷺ‬.”

To this, Hazrat Sawad ‫ رضی ہللا عنہ‬narrated the whole incident. “One mid-night while I was half asleep, jinn came, woke me up and said, “O Sawad Bin Qarib! Listen if you could understand. There is a Prophet from Quresh’s tribe, Luwi Bin Ghalib, who worships only one Allah and preaches monotheism.” I wondered that jinn riding white camels are in search of truth. I must also find the one who is prominent and finest of Bani Hashim. I would be the first one to seek truth, not the last one. Having determined, I asked that jinn to let me sleep as I had been feeling tired since evening. Next night that jinn appeared again and repeated the discussion. The jinn kept appearing for three nights. I realized that Allah wants me to become the first one to seek truth. I got up and rode the camel. When I reached Medina, I saw Holy Prophet Muhammad ‫ ﷺ‬sitting with his companions. I got closer and sought permission to submit. I recited following poetic verses:

This poetry amused Holy Prophet Muhammad ‫ ﷺ‬and his companions.”

Hearing the incident Hazrat Umar ‫ رضی ہللا عنہ‬embraced Hazrat Sawad ‫ رضی ہللا عنہ‬and said, “I earnestly wanted to hear this incident from you. Does that jinn still visit you?” “No, ever since I have started reciting Holy Quran, he has not come.”

Hazrat Umar ‫ رضی ہللا عنہ‬once told, “One day during our stay at Al Zareeh tribe of Quraish, while meat of a calf just slaughtered was being chopped, we heard a strange voice from calf’s stomach. In the age of 75 years this courageous tourist went to world thereafter leaving this existing country.

They worshipped God were made of stone. They did not have much familiarity or fondness with Muslims. They came under the wrath of a monster by the will of God. What used to happen was that every month a Ginny used to come from the side of sea. Its face was like of a big ship which has been lit with the help of torches. The rule of country was that that when they saw it, then they used to dress a virgin girl and in the shape of a bride and put in a carry able conveyance and in evening they used to leave her at a temple near the sea. Where she used to stay all night and early in morning when her family returned at dawn then they used to find her lying dead. So they used to pick up her dead body and took it with them.

What happened was that one westerner (person was from Indulus) whose name was Abu al barkaat., He was traveling on sea and landed on this island. All praises for God that this person was a memorizer of Quran. He stayed as a guest in the house of an old woman. One day from this house started the sound of screams and sad cries of as if they were mourning. Old women and her relative were screaming and loudly crying. When she asked the reason, he was told but as he was unfamiliar with the language so he did not understand. Finally translator was summoned. The translator told the entire story and said that actually the name of this woman has been drawn and she is the only hope of her life and sparkle of her eyes. Now she will send the daughter and that genie will kill her. He said to mother do not be sad I will go there instead of your daughter. It is God’s grace that this person was beardless, just the way roman people usually are. When the evening came those people decorated her with jeweler etc and left her at the temple. In evening he did ablution there and started to recite Quran in a loud voice. As the night started to get prolonged and everything started to get silent then there was a lot of ripples in the sea and then what happened was that the genie appeared and came near him but could not resist the God’s true narration and ran back towards the sea and vanished. In the morning when the old woman and her relatives came to pick up his dead body as per routine then they saw that he the roman was standing alive and well and reciting Quran. They brought this Hafiz in front of king named Shenoraza, tell the whole story to him, he was amazed and impressed also. The westerner told him to revert to Islam.

King said not now after a month when they see him alive from genie then they will revert to Islam.

Westerner live over there, then before a month they all King with his companion come to him and convert to Islam. After the same date when the monster come the people prepare Hafiz again to the place where the genie come but again Hafiz was reciting Quran he ran back towards the sea and vanished. After that mandir was demolished and all people of the Island became Muslims. Later on the rest of the Island near to them people return back to their homes and convert to Islam. Everyone respect this Westerner and they follow the religion of Imam Malik. They built a Masjid and one of the wall it was written “Sultan Ahmed Shenoraza wo revert to Islam on the hand of Westerner and give one third of the economy to the benefit of travelers because the whole Island became Muslims due to a traveler. Place a glass of water in front of you and recite the names of Almighty Allah with the imagination that pale yellow light from sky is being drizzled at your heart and your heart is receiving peace and your problems are getting solved. After the time for spiritual gathering is over, pray for Muslim Ummah; for entire Muslim world and for non-Muslims to convert to Islam. Pray for peace in the world, for yourself and for your relatives. Pray with utter confidence. Allah Almighty answers prayers. After praying, blow water thrice and drink the water. Blown water may also be offered to family members.

After every gathering, give eleven rupees as alms.

Note: If time for obligatory prayer comes during the spiritual gathering, do offer obligatory prayer and after having offered prayer, recite names of Allah Almighty compensating for the time which was consumed in offering prayer. Medics have enumerated several benefits of it. Holy Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬liked pomegranate. It’s mentioned in Quran Kareem in Surah Inaam Verse No. 100 & 142 and Surah Ar Rahman Verse No. 68 & 69. Some Hadiths stress it importance terming it pro digesting. All kinds of sweet pomegranate are anti constipation while its sweet and sour kinds are useful for stomach pain and heart trouble. Fresh pomegranate juice extends efficiency against fevers and weakness and relieves from thirst. This juice is also useful for liver, heart and kidneys and gripes etc.

Boil skin of pomegranate’s roots in four tolas (1 tola = 11.66375gms) of water even it remain half. Then strain out this water and make its three dosages. Feed first dosage with empty stomach in the morning and rest two dosages with the gape of one hour each. It will stop diarrheal discharge and relief weakness. Skin of its tree and root is also useful against intestinal worms particularly for tapeworm.

Seeds of sour pomegranate are also useful in medicines. Mix one tablespoon of its seeds in one cup of whole gram sop and drink to extract urinary bladder and kidneys stone. Extract juice of sweet pomegranate, store in a bottle and keep under sunlight until it gets thicker. Apply this solid juice in both eyes through an appropriate stick to heal week vision problem.

I am a regular reader of Ubqari since year 2012. My life is a house of tensions and issues. It has been 4 years since my marriage but I am miles away from happiness. I do not have children and my husband does not make marital relations with me for months. I don’t know where is the issue that after all these years, we have not been able to develop love between us. I some time think and while doing this I get goose bumps that if I had not listen to Hazrat hakim sahib and Ubqari then on what bad routes I would have adopted . I am very disappointed to say that nowadays the society has incorporated strange mandatory traditions in our lives which have no concrete foundations. These traditions are useless and completely against Islamic Sharia’ah. A lot of occasions and traditions that are wrong and unlawful have now become an important and mandatory part of our lives. ‘Dowry’ is a part of one of these. The following article will place light on the Islamic education in regards to dowry and what the important figures of Islam have to say about dowry. First of all, the main question is, what is the Sharia’ah importance of dowry? According to Sharia’ah, the reality of dowry is just limited to the fact that if any father wants to gift her daughter anything according to his economic abilities, he is allowed to do so. However this is not mandatory for marriage nor do the in laws have any right to ask for it. In laws cannot, in any way, say anything to the bride or be angry with her if she receives fewer dowries or brings no dowry at all. Dowry is not a mean to increase one’s respect and show case it to everyone at the time of marriage. There has been a widespread of wrong thoughts and beliefs in regards to dowry and according to me, we cannot just ignore that mindset, for example 1- Dowry is considered to be a compulsory part of the marriage and so if the family does not has money for dowry, the girl doesn’t gets married. We have no idea how many girls in our society are still unmarried because their parents have no money for dowry and if they get married, parents have to work very hard or even earn through unlawful ways in order to earn for dowry. If a father does not wants to earn through such unlawful ways then he eventually drowns himself in loans.

2- The quantity of dowry and the compulsory things that are demanded by the people is increasing in cost day by day. Dowry is no longer a gift from a father to his daughter which he can give according to his abilities happily; rather, it is oppression from the society which involves consideration, not only of daughter’s needs but the needs of her husband and in laws. Whether a father can or cannot give dowry, he has to give it in any case.

3- The giving of dowry is not done just to fulfill the needs to the girl or to make her happy rather it is there to make everyone happy who sees it.

4- The most disgusting thing about dowry is that the girl’s husband and in laws keep an eye on the dowry. Sometimes the in laws stubbornly demand dowry and sometimes even when it is not demanded in words, people still think that the bride will bring fabulous dowry. If their expectations are unfulfilled, they will eventually make life miserable for the bride by ranting about dowry continuously.

Dowry has been banned in foreign countries but a lot of communities still live with the same mindsets and thoughts. Some people suggest that the government should completely ban dowry but dowry is a societal problem which cannot be solved through the compulsion of laws. This is the reason why it is very important create awareness though education and media. The basic aim will be to change the thinking patterns of people. In regards to Sharia’ah and society, there is nothing wrong in giving of gifts from a father to his daughter (according to his abilities) which will prove to useful for her in her later life since Hazrat Muhammad (‫ )ﷺ‬himself gave some dowry with simplicity to his daughter Hazrat Fatima (‫)رضی ہللا عنھا‬. According to Sharia’ah there is nothing wrong in giving dowry to daughters and if there are no financial problems, the father can give his daughter whatever he desires to happily. The real problem occurs when dowry is only for decoration and show casing and in case the parents are not able to give dowry, the bride has to bear continuous rantings. In order to put an end to such mindset, every community will have to come together and perform JIhad against it till such people become shameful of their acts. Such changes can only be brought into the society when the educated and impactful people come together and create an environment of awareness for other people. Gradually, this environment changes the thoughts of people and overtakes everyone but this change also requires continuous heartfelt efforts. It is disappointing how people who should be the pioneers of change in the society are involved in other problems and so the responsibility of change and spreading awareness goes ignored. However, it is not right to become depressed about it and do nothing.

One of the rightful act one can do is to spread the good within your small circle and be courageous when saying the lawful. Eventually these small rightful efforts will attract people and will bring about a change not only in their thoughts but also in their actions, In Shaa Allah.

The loyal elephant of the last Mughal Emperor Bahadur Shah Zaffar

It is an old and a true story that took place in the Mughal era. The last Mughal Emperor Bahadur Shah Zaffar had an elephant. Its name was Maula Bakhsh and it was greatly loyal to its master. Though the elephant was very old but it was very healthy. Before Bahadur Shah Zaffar, it had served many other emperors for royal ride. It was a naughty and playful elephant. It was always in its full swing and didn’t let anyone come close to it except its trainer.

This elephant was fond of playing. Children gathered around it near the fort and Maula Bakhsh used to play with them. First the children used to ask it to get its leg up, and it did the same. The children asked it not to put its leg before for one minute and the elephant used to stay in the same posture. Maula Bakhsh put its leg down when the children said that one minute was over. Then it used to make a particular sound which meant that now it was children’s turn. The children pulled their legs up and if any child would put his leg down before a minute, Maula Bakhsh used to move its neck strongly, signaling that one minute was not yet over! It enjoyed a lot with the children. It used to pull sugar canes with its trunk and gave them to the children. If some day, children couldn’t come to play, the elephant used to make so much noise that its trainer had to call the children to play with it. Though Maula Bakhsh was very playful but at the time of royal ride, it behaved very respectfully and sensibly. It never got up until the emperor would have settled properly on it. Maula Bakahsh was extremely disheartened when in 1857, the Britishers captured the fort and Bahdur Shah Zaffar took shelter in Humayun’s tomb. It was so much grieved upon being departed from the emperor that it stopped eating. When the new fort incharge Sandrus came to know this, he ordered baskets full of sweets and Kachoris and put in front of Maula Bakhsh. The elephant threw everything on the ground with its trunk. Sandrus became furious to see that even an elephant was so rebellious against them. He ordered to auction the elephant. Maula Bakhsh was standing in the market but no one was bidding its auction. Finally a druggist opened the bid with only 250 rupees. And it was decided to sell the elephant to him. Seeing this, Maula Bakhsh’s trainer said, “Maula Bakhsh! So long we had been serving the emperor but now you have to serve ride to a turmeric seller.” Upon hearing this, the elephant fell off and died. It is a unique account of an elephant’s loyalty. Maula Bakhsh didn’t like living with anyone else except its master and lost its life due to this grief.

I’m sorry to say that I cannot do this for you, please forgive me”. Disappointedly she went back to her home and started thinking what to do. Suddenly an idea came to her mind and she accomplished her task as soon as she found an opportunity. After this, she sat under a tree where her condition turned so severe that she died. When the baby chickens came out of the eggs, one of them was duckling. The father chicken realized that how it happened but he thought it was better not to tell anything to his wife. Mama chicken made a lot of noise saying a duckling would not live with her children. He tried to make her understand but she didn’t agree. She told her babies that they should not talk to the duckling. All her babies did what she said accept two of them. They shared everything they ate with the duckling. Mama chicken hated the duckling so much that she didn’t even want to see him. One day she thought that all of them would go to the river bank for outing and leave the duckling over there. This is how she would get rid of him. As soon as they reached there, a baby chicken fell in the water and was about to be drowned. Seeing this, mama chicken started crying loudly. The duckling could swim so he jumped in the river and took out the baby chicken. Upon seeing this, mama chicken felt sorry for her bad behavior, she said sorry to the duckling and accepted him as her son. This is how they lived happily together. So kids! You can see how the duckling saved the baby chicken and what reward he got in return. This is why it is said, “Do Good and have good”. It said that we should massage our feet every night before sleeping with any oil for two to three minutes. I read this and started massaging my feet regularly. The poor guy was neither that clever nor so intelligent. I used to taunt him by calling him brainless and mad. The only thing he used to say was, “Sir! Don’t force people to curse you rather make them pray for you, my heart curses you when you tease me without any reason”. Now I regret that if I had not annoyed him, my beloved son would be living a normal life like other children. Although, previously I used to think that only saints’ curses are answered. I even used to say this to him that you are not a saint that whatever you say would happen. Hazrat Sahib! I was wrong, either it be saint or a common person, both are Allah’s creatures. Allah is the Bountiful and He listens to all. Hazrat Sahib! I have been crying for my son and have spent a lot of money on his treatment. Whoever told me about someone, I took my son to that doctor no matter how far away that place was. Now I pray to Allah that my son may not become dependent on anyone after my death. I will look after my son as long as I’m alive but I don’t know what happens to him when I will not be there. Hazrat Sahib! My bad days started right after “Z” left his job.

Everyone’s behavior in the office was changed, using abusive language and making fun of each other became a routine and we used to call it pleasure. My office colleagues started calling me “Dog”, all of them used to call me dog and abused me. This is how the things were going on. I used to think that what was happening with me. I was facing the same behavior at my home. Quarrels with wife became a daily routine. My mother was also angry with me. If I tried to make my mother happy, my wife would become angry. Due to this continuous depression and anxiety I became a psycho patient. I used make promises with Allah that I will offer prayers regularly if He would get me out of my troubles. But I always forgot to fulfill my promise whenever He solved my problem. And then I was caught in another trouble. I was under heavy debts. Sometimes I thought of committing suicide but I rejected the idea considering my children. Every day there was a new challenge for me, putting me in another trouble. I used to cry and think that why it was happening with me.

I have five kids. Previously, I was healthy. But, since last few days, I feel tired in the afternoon. I don’t feel like working. I want to take rest. I don’t know what is happening to me. Doctor had given me pain killers which are not effective enough. Can you please tell me, why I feel so exhausted (Mrs. Noshaba).

Advice: One of the reasons of this exhaustion is that you are working more than your capacity. It is not easy to take care of five children. Besides you don’t pay attention to your diet. You should take paratha, egg and tea in the breakfast. Do take some fruit in the afternoon. Orange, fruiter and mandarin is good for having vitamin C. Doctors say that body deficit in vitamin C is vulnerable to cell damage and exhaustion.

Please do one thing, keep organs at home and whenever you feel exhausted, take its juice, you will feel refreshed. Our female gets lost on domestic chores and forgets to take care of themselves. It results in irritation, exhaustion and leg aching. Orange is full of vitamin C. Its juice is very refreshing. Some of women use vitamin C tablets of 500 mg for two weeks, to keep their health fit. However taking, fresh orange juice is more beneficial. Breakfast should be taken be taken regularly and properly so that you can work well throughout the day. Take care of your diet; eat fruits, vegetables and meat. Those female, who take care of their diet, do not feel exhausted. Last year, I happened to see an old woman. She was preparing a dry mixture of grains, semolina (sooji) and dry fruits. She said that it was very effective for back ache. She used to eating it every winter to remain fit and feel no back ache. She also took fruits in the noon. She had eight children. Her daughters-in-law make fun of her but she does not give up taking care of her health.

Clean the Dark Elbows

Both of my elbows have grown dark from the joints. They look very odd. How can I remove these spots?

Advice: You don’t clean your elbows with soap very well. Cut a lemon into two pieces and pour some sugar over them. The sugar grains should be big. Rub your elbow with this lemon dipped in sugar grains until sugar melts. Clean it with tissue and clean it again with other part of lemon with sugar. Wash the elbows later, in few days; your elbows will be clean. Lemon helps to clear the skin colour. After that you can apply some cream or petroleum jelly. It cleans the dirt. You have to work a bit for this result. Wash after ten minutes with water and apply rose water, a few drops of glycerine will also keep the skin soft.

Benefits of sweet potatoes

Advice: Wash the vegetables, drain water and dry them. Then wrap it in soaked cloth. It will be fresh for a few days. Never keep green vegetables in plastic bags. You can wash spinach etc. before refrigerating it.

But after a few days wash them again in dead cold water, they will be refreshed. Don’t buy too many vegetables, buy whatever is sufficient for you. Don’t cook vegetables on high heat. It will waste the nutrition. Green leafy vegetables like spinach can be saved after boiling them.

Advice: Winter is about to come. You must eat sweat potatoes. Boiling it in water will reduce its nutrition.

Baking it in hot sand is ashes are more beneficial. It is very useful for people like you. It makes muscles strong and you will look healthy. You can bake a half kg of it and eat it daily. Gradually increase its quantity.

You can add black pepper, cumin seeds and brown cardamom grains grinded in equal quantity and a little salt to sprinkle over it. It will cure all your mentioned problems. Old people used to say that eating it for 40 days during winter makes the body healthy for the whole year.

Moreover, you can also take one tea spoon of Nijella Sativa (Kalonji), six tea spoons of olive oil, warm it on low heat and add Nijella Sativa; turn off the stove after three minute, cool it down and stain it though a thin cotton cloth. Pour one drop of this oil in both sides of nose at night, if you sneeze too much or have blocked nose or have a pimple in nose.

Advice: In winter, the body usually gets dried. Baby oil is available in the market. Take a few spoons o baby oil, pour one table soon oil into a bottle add some water. Apply it on whole body after taking shower.

It will reduce dryness from your body. If you don’t get baby oil, you can use olive oil instead. You can add rose water for fragrance. If you apply olive oil to kids before shower, they look very clean afterwards.

Cabbage is considered beneficial for gums: It stops phlegm from forming; it is considered one of the best vegetables for purifying blood. It is good for piles, pus and papules. The benefits of it increase when used in combination with ginger.

People in France use cabbage along with meat and in Russia its soup are consumed. People in Germany like to eat it with vinegar, they call it pickled. British eat a salad of cabbage dried fruits and apples. In fact all over the world cabbage is considered an important part of food. We will advise you not to forget this vegetable when choosing your food. Let’s talk about the benefits of cabbage and cauliflower. Their outlook is different but their medical benefits are almost similar. The leaves of cauliflower have second degree protein in them but they don’t have all the nutrients to meet the nutritional requirements for the body. They have more fibre and less nutrients. Cauliflower is called queen of vegetables because its white flowers are so pretty. Cabbage looks similar to cauliflower but it’s more like spinach (saag). It does not have a flower but has layers of leaves. The soft leaves take a shape of a ball. Cabbage is very delicious. German cabbage is very hard. This is a vegetable of Europe but is cultivated in our country as well. It is available in red and green color. Cauliflower has phosphorous, vitamin B and D. whereas in cabbage vitamin B, C and E along with minerals. Cauliflower has also vitamin C which is beneficial for dental health. Cabbage causes gas in stomach. Cooking it with potato is not good for health. That’s why it should either be cooked with meat or alone and ginger should be added in it. Cabbage is considered beneficial for gums.

Practice according to shariah: remember that if you practice according to shariah it’ll be source of guidance if opposite happens then it’ll be source of misguidance. Tarekat is the practice of righteous and spiritual people that is always according to shariah. If shariah forbids from one thing then it’s forbidden no matter how beneficial it sounds and if shariah allows something then it has to be done no matter it may seem like a loss. There is 100 percent profit in it.

Many itbah ikram has links with such patients who complain about bone ach, many ladies and gents complain that they have pain in their shinbone, pain in the lower part of their foot. Pain in the finger bone, many patients come with back bone pain, they also feel pain in the neck. Pain in the arm bone, some patients also come to the medicine practitioners that while walking they feel lot of pain in their shinbone as if its broken. Its difficult to even move, one can only move after taking rest. Foot fingers ach from inside. In other words we face many patients with bone ach issues. Why the patient is getting this pain at a specific place or bone this can be diagnosed and the doctor can treat this but sometimes the patients do not get cure after getting these medicines. After the train left the station there was darkness, I remembered ALLAH and started to walk towards Peko road by Itfaq Factory. I thought of getting a rikshaw from there to my home.

Suddenly two men rushed towards me with a pistol in their hand, these were the same men who traveled with me from Karachi, and somehow they found out that I was traveling with a briefcase full of money.

One of them put the gun on my head and grabbed the bag from my hand. I handed over the bag to them to save my life and did not resist. They started to search me, they found out a gold taweez of Surah Yaseen in my neck (Gold is forbidden for men). They tried to grab it as well but I tried to resist as much as I could with my power to protect the Kalam ALLAH. They broke the gold chain in this struggle, suddenly a fierce dog came from nowhere and it bit his foot. Pistol fell from his hand his other companion was looking at this and asked me “Bao Ji you did not resist while handing over huge amount of money to us and for a gold chain why did you resist so hard? From where did you get this power?” I told him that I could not bear the disrespect of Surah Yaseen, look ALLAH HIMSELF protected Surah Yaseen. Chandan' in a book. I ordered it from the market, ground it and placed it on the dining room table. For the first week I ate it equal to the amount of water placed in Chana Daal (pulses). The next week, I ate it only in the mornings. After this, I took it on alternate days. A week later, my condition was much better.

Whenever I had a headache, I would take it, otherwise not. This medicine is warm and dry hence it makes one thirsty; because water is consumed in large amounts in summers, usually months can pass.

However, Choti Chandan does not need to be taken much in winters because blood thickens in the cold.

That is why I took it after the interval of three, four days. It is an incredible medicine. Though, it is really bitter, it normalizes the blood pressure within 30 minutes. Use Choti Chandan with care. If blood pressure is normal and one takes it more it will cause the blood 3 pressure to fall hence only take this when blood pressure is high. I am so lazy that I bought 100 rupees worth of Choti Chandan which I used for almost 2 years. I also keep giving it to other people fi sabeelila and even now it has not finished. Hot blooded people can mix Ilachi or Sanndal while taking Choti Chandan to avoid upsetting their condition.

This is my own experience which I would like to share with the Ubqari readers especially those suffering from high blood pressure.

If anyone is suffering from severe coughing and are also experiencing pain in their throat then they should mix ginger juice and honey, both in equal amounts, together and drink it before going to sleep.

At least, one teaspoon of both ginger juice and honey should be mixed and fed to the patient. After drinking it the patient should not rinse his mouth and instead sleep just like that. This method should be followed for three nights consistently. Inshallah, it will ease both your cough and irritation in throat.

Suddenly some Indian soldiers tried to dishonor the Captain’s body. On this the commanding officer scolded them. Nobody should come near it. He came in front of captain’s body. He was so surprised to see a smile on the Captain’s face. What a brave solider he remarked. He has won my heart. The commanding officer handed over the body to his superiors and conveyed to them the whole incident. The Commanding officer then handed the captain’s body to Pakistan army. Captain’s bravery was commendable. The Pakistan army handed the body to its legal heirs. The brave officer was an asset of the Pakistan army it cannot be forgotten.

On 18 July at mid night a flight landed at Karachi Cantt along with the Captain’s body. The brave solider has done his job. Bulloch regiment laid him to rest with full dignity. People were excited to see the sight of Captain’s body. The nation’s son had set an example which will be remembered for times to come.

Before there was humility, love, thoughtfulness, truth, faithfulness in her temperament, now Azan would not have any effect on her, people use to offer Namaz but she did not feel anything, rather she would say that she is right about not offering Namaz, she would tell to other people that you can pray as much as you can, I also did it a lot but did not get any benefit or gain. Don’t offer Namaz, don’t do recitation or tasbihaat and then she would start evil poetry in which tasbih and recitation was prohibited and she would utter such words due to which there was a danger of losing faith, no one knew where her faith had gone and she did not even realize it and ultimately the lady lived for some more years and then she was surrounded in worries and illnesses and after some time she became mad and finally she was locked in a room of her house, she would not wear her clothes with open hair and bad smell use to come from her body, finally she died. She was very pious before, people started calling her mad, was treated, given medicines but treatment did not give her any relief, finally she died in her madness. The Jin made of black smoke further said, I led many young, religious people, honest people towards dishonesty, made many young people attentive towards rebellious thoughts. There are many such people to whom I gave evil thoughts and mean thoughts and these people got ruined and more ruined due to these negative thoughts and their lives became from bad to worse and their circumstances from bad to worse.

Then it started that where I gave interview for the job, they selected me but I rejected them. Once it happened that a big firm accepted all my terms and selected me but I refused for that job. They became surprised and said we are giving you the pay you have told and accepting all your terms but you are not willing to do, I said I am not feeling comfortable, the man who did my interview said that it is the first experience of my service that a selected job candidate is saying that I don’t want to do job in this institution.

After this I received call from a government institution, I did job there without any bribery and recommendation. When I got this job, the condition of my house had been changed, our starvation had ended. From the first day till now I recite the wazifa daily, I do my transfer wherever and whenever I want in this institution, and people wonder that what kind of recommendation I have while I have just this wazifa. He would cry while listening the Quranic recitation. One of his visited him to enquire after his health one hour before his death and started talks on politics. Then I came across his paternal cuisine. He told me that long time ago he accompanied his mother for buying dory for his sister. He purchased an expensive cloth for the bridal at Rs 500 / meter. Then his mother asked the salesman that she wanted to buy the fabric to cover the Quran Kareem. The shopkeeper showed him the cheap quality fabric at mere rate of Rs. 20 / meter. He became angry and shouted at shopkeeper that how it was possible that his sister may wear and expensive cloth at Rs 500 / meter while the Holy Book may cover with just Rs 20 / meter. He asked the shopkeeper to show him the most expensive available cloth. The shopkeeper showed him an expensive cloth at Rs 700 / meter which he liked and purchased. He purchased 4 meters to cover the Quran Kareem. Then I realized the reason behind the divinely decision of letting the irreligious man like him to listening the Quran Kareem with all due respect in his last moments. His words showing due respect to Quran Kareem that why the cover of Quran Kareem may prepare with cheap cloth but my sister would wear an expensive one. The decision of giving him admirable death was written for him when he thrown away the cheap cloth’s bundle. Surely Allah Almighty love to His Kalaam that even minor worker having respect and honor in their hearts for Quran Kareem were not deprived and were rewarded with blessing by Allah.

Experience of Haldi Sweets:-

Sweet of Haldi:- ½ Kg Raw Haldi , ½ Kg Basin, ½ Kg Khoya , Gund Kani 100 gram, Pista, Almond as needed, ½ Kg Pure Ghee , Kamar Kas 100 gram, 04 Maghaz 100 gram, Sonf 01 cup, ½ Kg Sugar. Fri all these items and cooked. Daily Take 02 Spoon early in the morning. It is very useful for the joints pain, Body pains etc.

My younger brother was critically injured in accident. His whole body was in severe pain due to injuries in his body. He could not sleep or sit. Then we gave him Halwa with milk and gradually his pain started vanished. Within week he started to walk. One of my cousin’s rib bones and spinal cord was seriously damaged in road accident. Third: there is no relief or comfort in offering prayer. Fourth: the person doesn’t want to offer prayer. Fifth: will become victim of body diseases. Sixth: the heart will become weak.

3- If you want body comfort, please eat less and if you want comfort of soul please speak less. Allah almighty is not happy with those who are talkative. The person who is talkative does backbiting.

4- Remember the big enemy of human is his appetite.

5- If you want to avoid diseases then recite Bismillah before starting the meal and say Alhamdulillah after eating.

6- The patients of blood pressure use watermelon seeds, Indian snakeroot (Choti Chandan), and sandalwood syrup (Sandal Surup) for few days.

7- Always start with salty meal and end it with salty meal too, you will safe from seventy stomach diseases by doing this.

8- If you have urine problem then add walnut nuts, sesame, millet and cumin in yogurt and use it, if you want to protect yourself from hepatitis then use carrot juice, radish juice and sugarcane juice, lemon and cucumber. These things are common now.

9- Make this habit always that drink a glass of water before breakfast, it is very beneficial for constipation and blood pressure patients.

10- Drink water before taking meals, and don’t sleep without eating dinner because without eating anything at night before sleep causes old age.

11- Do prayers and praise Allah before the sunrise and sunset, you will remain safe from mental, physical and spiritual troubles.

12- Treat people with courtesy because at the Day of Judgment no other thing is heavier than being courteous to others in a believers’ scale of deeds because it is great prayer before Allah to make other people happy. The saying of Holy Prophet ‫ﷺ‬is that the courteous people would very close to me at the Day of Judgment and talkative people would far away from me.

13- If anyone gets ill from us, must go to inquire the health of that person, remember! When a person goes to inquire the health of a sick person, so he plucks fruits of Heaven and sits with the patient then he is being hidden under Allah’s mercy. Till evening time if there is morning time and if there is evening time then till morning time seventy thousand angels send mercies and blessings on him.

14- Don’t overwhelm disappointment on yourself because disappointment is infidelity. Keep praying to Allah. Don’t get disappointed on rejection of prayer. When a person calls Allah, and he is beloved of Allah and Allah almighty says: “O’ Gabriel! Don’t do hurry in fulfilling the desire of my person, I like to hear his voice. (Subhanallah) Allah says in Quran Pak: O’ my Beloved! When my people ask about me (that where is our God) then I am very close, when a person who prays to me, I accept his supplication. (Al Quran). In a Hadith there is saying that who does not supplicate to Allah, Allah almighty gets angry. Hazrat Ali Hajveri Almaroof Data Ganj Bakhsh ‫ رحمتہ ہللا علیہ‬says that the person who knows Allah and doesn’t do obedience of Him, knows Holy Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬but doesn’t follow Him, recites Quran but doesn’t act upon it, eats Allah’s blessings but doesn’t pay gratitude to Allah, knows that Heaven is for those who do obedience but doesn’t want, knows that the Hell is for sinners but doesn’t feel fear, understands that death is truth but doesn’t do any preparation for it, buries his friends and relatives but doesn’t get lesson, remains curious about other’s imperfections but doesn’t abandon himself, understands Satan his enemy but doesn’t go away from him, Allah listens the supplications of that person but doesn’t accept. O my Lord! Forgive all our previous sins and all the next sins that we did intellectually and unconsciously and forgive our mistakes that you know better. You are the first and you are the last. You are the only Lord, and you are the only one. ( Amin sum Amin)
