Must to do in Ramadan ul Mubarak …!

w

Dear Readers! I wanted to bring to your attention some important points which will benefit you like a good companion during the Holy month of Ramadan.

w

 During the whole month of month of Ramadan ul Mubarak you will commit to yourselves that you will talk less and spend most of your time in “Zikr” and especially ّٰ ‫ن ْ ْ ن ْ ن ْ ن ن ْ ن ن ْ ر‬ ْ ‫َالر م‬ ‫ِح ن‬ recite(َ‫ی‬ َ ‫تَخ‬ ‫ی‬ َ ‫ح ََوَان‬ َ ‫بَاغ مف َرَوار‬ َ ‫"َ) ر م‬Our Lord! Grant us forgiveness and mercy! For You are the Best of those who show mercy." (Surah Al-Mu’minoon - 118). You will recite this with or without

w

ablution and without counting as many times as possible.  You will try to keep in ablution all the times during Ramadan because a habit, adopted during Ramadan, may stay with you throughout life.  If you have a bit of doubt about your income i.e. if it is completely halal or not, I would suggest that you should borrow some money from someone about whom you are quite certain that he earns absolutely honest income and spend that money on your meals during Ramadan and then pay off the debt with your own money. You should use the Page 2 of 11

borrowed money for all your personal necessities like food or even the small things used for cooking the food including oil, spices etc. as well as other things that you would need during Ramadan. Teach yourself that if you can eat honestly in the month of Ramadan and live an honest life for thirty days then why it is not possible for the rest of your life Ask Allah Almighty for honest living & plentiful sustenance for yourself as well as for your children and future generations. Take rose preserve (Gulgand) 250 grams and mix in it 10 grams of green cardamom powder. Using one tablespoon of this mixture at Sahri time will reduce your feeling of thirst and hunger for the whole long day even if you are working in the open summer heat. In addition, you can also take one tablespoon of the same mixture at Iftar time too. Make special effort to recite the Quran and recite it in such a way as you are begging to Allah Almighty through each letter to bless you with taufeeq of reciting the Quran with the same zeal and passion throughout the year. Try your best to protect your gaze and hearing from all kinds of sinful visuals and evil voices and give some charity if you can afford and pray to Allah Almighty to let you live a sin-free life. Commit to yourself that you will provide food for the whole month to at least one family who do not beg of people at all and are shy of asking others due to their modesty. You can also help them financially so that they can fast with ease during the month of Ramadan. For those who can afford, It is the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet( Sayyiduna Rasoolullah SallAllaho Alaihi Wa Sallam) to give Sadaka Fitr in the form of dates or equivalent amount of money. Please be generous while giving charity and do not be mean. Your generosity should help someone sustain his living for some time at least. Everyone has to wake before dawn to eat and drink for the long summer days but if we get up a little earlier to spare some moments for at least two cycles of nafal prayers with an intention of seeking steadfastness, repentance and gratefulness to the Almighty. You can make a combined intention of all these in just two cycles of nafal prayers.

w

Pledges and Commitments of Ramadan ul Mubarak: Believe me that if each of our wealthy fellow Muslims calculate their Zakat accurately and pass it on to the well deserving people according to the Sharia injunctions, there will not be a single poor person in the society. The people here are so rich that for some of them it is almost impossible to imagine about their amount of wealth. If these wealthy people want to have abundance in their wealth and like to grow it further like becoming billionaire from millionaire or trillionaire from billionaire and so on should Page 3 of 11

follow the examples of thousands others who have experienced enormous growth in their wealth. This act is so significant that whosoever performs it, will have his life full of success, prestige, fame and everlasting comfort for themselves as well as their future generations.

i.o

rg

I came across a stranger whose ancestors were well known for their grandeur and wealth and I was shocked to learn that he was no longer a rich person rather he was living a very miserable life. Even poorer than the poor! I was stunned to listen to this and asked him why? He said that he had tried to find the root cause of his destruction and he has reached the conclusion that his ancestors never paid any Zakat or Ushr. This evil practice ruined him and left his family penniless without being aware of it and everything was snatched away from them like blown away by the wind. Another person said that he has already advised his descendants not to stop paying Zakat and Ushr as it was done by his ancestors strictly that they used to follow the complete code of paying Zakat and Ushr according to Sharia injunctions. He had also warned his children that if they wanted to become miserable and adverse then stop paying Zakat and Ushr. If you continue paying Zakat and Ushr then no one in the whole universe can make you poor.

w

w

w

ar

In Ramadan, we pay charity through our bodies, our wealth, sacrifice our wishes and longings, charity in the form of hunger, thirst, lowering the gaze, protection of our ears and tongue. This month is actually a month of charity and virtue. In addition, fasting in sweltering heat of long summer days is no less than a test. Therefore, in this Ramadan, you and I should consider paying Zakat and Ushr and think about it seriously so that our thoughts materialize into actions. Believe me that you will never witness any poverty, pennilessness and starvation. This is so important to think about it lest the givers become the takers. I know so many incidents, where it was destined for the people to experience bloodshed, murders, litigations, domestic violence and abuse, problems in life and defeats everywhere in their lives, who were actually liable to pay Zakat but instead they pretend to be deserving for it and they ate the Zakat money and filled their bellies with it. It lead their own lives as well as their generations to destruction and ruins. We should try to control our gaze, our tongue, our hearts, our ears, eyes, thoughts, emotions, wishes, intuitions and intentions with Istighfar and repentance. Istighfar means that we are seeking forgiveness for what we have committed and we would never do it again and would restricts all our body to focus on this commitment for the whole month. Then you will see a wonderful Ramadan and it will be so splendid that you can never imagine. Let us make a firm pledge that in this Ramadan, we will pray less for ourselves and more for others, for the enemies of our country, lives, respect and our generations. Yes we should make a firm pledge with ourselves that in this Ramadan, we will practice goodness, tolerance for our owns as well as for others and we will continue increasing it and never forget to include, in this Ramadan at Sahri and Iftari, your minor kids in your Amen as their Amen goes beyond the seven heavens. Try it if you are in any doubt‌!

Tahajud Prayer AKA “Salaat ul-Layl Spare some time to offer 2 to as many as 12 Rakah of Nawafil at tahajjud followed by a humble and sobbing prayer from your heart. Whatever number of Rakat you pray, make sure that you offer them with full devotion & concentration and afterwards spend some time in whispering to

Almighty Allah SubHanuhu wa Ta'ala with zeal and humility before eating Sahri meal. You can pray in your own language as He can listen to even the whispers of your heart. Say, “Ya Allah! Give us in this world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good”, whatever comes in your mind talk to Him and continue calling Him and asking for all your needs. Sahri is an auspicious time where both physical as well as spiritual thirsts are quenched and this is the time of special blessing from Allah when the He announce if there is anyone who wants something so that I can give it to him, is there anyone desires for something so that I can grant him his wishes. Beg the Almighty like a beggar and do not stop asking and begging until He grants you all your wishes. The Almighty Lord of Ka’aba, will certainly grant all your wishes and fulfil your desires.

Highly Recommended Recitation for Marriage:

ar

On the middle night of eleventh and twelfth Ramadan after the Isha Prayer, pray twelve Rakah Nawafil with sets of two Nafl each time. In aach Rakah, after Surah Al-Fatiha recite Surah AlIkhlas once and after you have finished all twelve Nafl recite any Durood 100 times. Then pray to Allah Almighty to grant the reward of these Nawafil and Durood to the beloved Prophet (‫ )صیلَہللاَعلیہَوسلم‬and then through his intercession beg to Allah continuously for at least 15

minutes for the marriage of your daughter or sister or whosoever. By the Grace of Allah, you will find a suitable match for her before the next Ramadan ul Mubarak. This is highly recommended and proven recitation, whomever I told this Recitation he found it effective and thanked Allah.

Beat the Heat: Cool Dates Drink (Nabeez) During Ramadan:

I always recommend a special drink in the month of Ramadan ul Mubarak which was also in use in the blessed time of our beloved Prophet (‫) صیلَہللاَعلیہَوسلم‬. This drink called Nabeez has been mentioned

.u bq

among the prophetic foods, which is till used by the Arabs although it is not that common among the non-Arab world. Usually dates are considered as a high calorie food but if you soak these in water for some time and then blend them, you would never find a more pleasant and freshening drink than that. Following is the complete recipe for making this enjoyable summer drink in the Ramadan. Recipe:

w

w

Take a customized quantity of dates in the evening (if they are dry then cut them into small pieces and remove the seeds). Then soak them in the water. The proportion of dates to water should be 1:8 (250 grams dates in 2 liters of water. Then next morning, blend the dates with your hands and they will seem to be dissolved in the water. You may filter it or drink it as it is without filtering. If you are using fresh dates, then soak them without cutting and remove the seeds next morning before blending it. You can add milk to this dates drink to enhance its effectiveness, as now two items of paradise (i.e. date and milk) are together now.

w

Precaution: Please store this drink at a cool place or in the refrigerator. You can use the morning soaked dates in the evening and the evening soaked dates next morning but consume it within 12 hours as any further delay will produce fermentation in it and may become doubtful due to its intoxicant nature. Try to drink it when it is fresh.
